Neurological Problem? My littlest boy, Batman has some problem. I am not sure how to tell it. He was the one who wasn't gaining weight to begin with. Now the puppies are 13.5 weeks. He is not quite 2 #. He does not play like the rest of the puppies, sometimes he screams when you pick him up, but doesn't seem to have any sore areas. He eats and drinks and plays outside and comes to the door and barks when he wants in. Sometimes you can hold and pet him and he licks your face. Other times he seems terrified and flails around and just wants down and runs to his bed. He will get that way if he is frightened as well. I just wondered if anyone had any ideas about this, he seems healthy enough, just like a screw loose? |
Maybe he is just a scared little guy...He is the smallest right? Perhaps he knows that and is a little scared. Give him time. Take him to a vet if you are not sure. I wish you and your little scared puppy luck! |
I agreed if you are concerned I think is best you take him to the vet to get him check. I hope there is nothing wrong with him. I will have you both in my prayers. Im glad that the other pups are doing well. |
Laura - his weight sounds really good - - but if you feel funny - I would call the vet and see what he says - it sounds like he's eating and all but if you're like me...a phone call wouldn't hurt....poor little guy - It scares US when they act differently than others - he just could be a little skittish ps....I adore his name |
Thanks! I have the vet check him every time we go for shots, at first I thought he was deaf (he's not), I had her check his legs (he runs crooked), I think she thinks I'm a nut, but we will go for more shots next week and I will spring this on her. I am just afraid there is something wrong that could be corrected. He is a little cutie, big smile and a little helpless. I am terribly afraid he will fling himself out of someones hands. He gets really wild. Of course, everyone wants to hold him. |
