Advice Needed I am talking with a lady about a 4 month old yorkie. The mother weighs 6 lbs. and the daddy weighs 3 lbs. Is there any way to determine approxmiately what this little girl will weigh? Thanks! |
Yorkie Sizes I don't think there is any way to determine the size of what your puppy will grow up to be. I have a Yorkie and he is almost 1 yr old and already weighs 15lbs. I wouldn't care if he weighed even more b/c he is just too cute |
:) The only reason I was concerned abou the weight is that I have LuLu who is 4 pounds. I don't want to get one that will overpower her. |
Because weight is pretty important i would go for a older one even like 6 month's old just to get a better idea of size. |
If you know the weight & age of the pup, you can use the following chart as a guide. Yorkshire Terrier - Yorkie Puppy Growth/Weight Chart - watch us grow |
Weight The little baby is 4 months old and weighs 3 pounds. Can anyone give me an idea. The only thing that kinda concerns me is that it comes with no health guarantee. |
According to the chart, the full grown weight should be 5 lbs. A health guarantee, & a reputatable breeder are important. Vet costs can be expensive. |
