He wont even go in his bed, he has to be on me? he sits and paws at me on the couch gentely untill i give in. He wont play with his toys much he wud rather fall asleep on mummy. now i have no problem with this if i am watchin tv but he does it when i have my laptop on my knee, he tries so hard to climb up my body and fall asleep on me or lick me to death which is sooooo sweet but he dont take no for an answer lol and he drives me mad cryin for an hour to be up? anyone else have this? He is a cutie tho lol xxxxxx |
There was a thread on this and I do it all the time cause Roxy does the same thing. She loves the "boob" thing.....lol.......put ur hoodie or zip up sweat-shirt on backwards. Put him in the "hood" ! :yelrotflmthere ya go........hand's free puppy! I have to admit, it's hard not to spoil her but I don't care, she's spoiled rotten, yet very polite about it. :lol tears |
Abby always likes to be sitting on the couch with us. If I am on my laptop she sits on the back of the couch and has most of her body on my shoulder. This isn't a problem for us because we allow her on the furniture with us, I can see it could be if you don't want your dog on the furniture. She also lays on my pillow at night by my head. She just likes the closeness! |
Yes haha i know what u mean about the boob thing lol. I do let Bailey on the couch tho if am watchin tv i just want him to learn if mummy says no then he cant come up. I am not used to him being so close to me to tell u the truth, i just left my partner and am used to bailey sharing his love lol also my partner has a golden lab so bailey loved playing and having fun with the lab too. Now i have moved into a place on my own with him he is my little shadow and me and him have really bonded which i just love :) he has been my little rock through the hard times. Do u think he feels like coz he dont see my ex partner and the lab any more that i'm going to leave him too and thats why he always wants to be on me? hes asleep on my knee right now haha hes so sneeky hehe!! xxx |
Yorkies are so affectionate and crave to be close to their mommies & daddies. Mine are "shoulder babies"...they love to nuzzle. I had one, that I recently lost, that justed loved to burrow under my blouse!!! Gosh, I miss her!! |
Awww, Twinkle does this too......she doesn't like to be on my lap (she's a bit too big to be a lapbaby:rolleyes:) but she loves to lay really close and rest her head on me, it's sooo cute. You've been away for so long hun, let's see some new pics of your handsome Bailey:D xxx xxx |
I wondered if they new someone left or just came to visit too...if I'm home Roxy seems pretty brave and she loves my son comming to visit, she loves it when my hubby comes home from work, but if she's scared or defending the homestead, it's right to mom!!!....pick me up so I can show my teeth, growl, and bark! She's always in a big frame of mind. I learn more about her day by day. I personally think they have more sences than we do anyway, so maybe she's feeling she had to protect you, now being on your own, trying to tell you your not alone ! WHO KNOWS?????.....MAYBE THE DOG WHISPER KNOWS????....LOL :yelrotflm:lol tears :yay_jump: |

:p KiKi does this too...my kids (who are grown) make fun of her...and say..."oh da baby has to be on mommy all the time":p KiKi will always try and lay on me..but if I say go lay down...she will go to another spot... You can try training him to "go lay down"...when you need some space...pick him up and put him somewhere cozy....say lay down & stay...:animal-pa ...don't feel like you are being mean...they do need to learn some independence!:D I think by nature they are just little cuddlers...lucky for us!!:p |
