sassy slapping BF's lips ok so when my BF and i are laying down sassy just haaas to have HIS attention.. she will not leave him alone and is always licking his lips and rubbing her face and neck against his, but the biggest and funniest thing to look at while she is going thru all this, is that she will sit on his stomach and while he acts like hes asleep, she kinda slaps her paws and nails against his lips making a popping noise that your lips would do if they were closed and you ran your finger down them rather quickly.. it is sOo funny to watch.. and it goes on for a solid 15-20 mins.. so my question issss.. why? what does she look to accomplish in doing that to his lips? and why does she rub her neck on his face non-stop if hes just laying there? |
I don't really know what you tell you but it is a very cute story! You should make a video of it and post it so we can see! Good luck |
sounds like she just loves her daddy! :) maybe shes rubbing her neck and face on him to get her scent on him.. kinda like claiming her "territory"? :p lol or maybe just trying to get his attention  |
Yep, Tina does this too. It was cute and now it gets old. She doesn't like it when we blow in her face, so when we want her to stop that's what we do. It is ok sometimes but this tends to work when I want to calm her down. |
awww what a cute thing for her to do. Don't know why she would do it, perhaps she simply likes how it feels or the noise it makes. Gracie, when she simply can't wait another minute for me to wake up, will climb up on me and pat my cheek with her paw. Very softly, and with her whole paw, she'll just pat, pat, pat on my cheek as if to say, "Momma, are you awake? Momma, it's time to get up." Her pads are sooooo soft, it really is the nicest way to be woke up. And all 3 love to rub then faces on us. I think it's a type of greeting and sign of "we are a pack" that dogs do. |
