My Yorkies don't like SNOW! We are having the first significant snow fall of my girls lives. I bundled them up and let them out on the deck to experience it. After sniffing and shivering a bit, they high tailed it back inside. I tried to get a few pics through the screen door, will post later if they came out. Do your Yorkie's like the snow? |
Same here I was upset at work because it started to snow and all i wanted to do was go home and take him outside to see it! i thought he would love it and maybe chase the flakes.. like he does the falling leaves... Got home and got outside.. he was all crotched down.. walking really slow and not liking one bit of it:rolleyes:.. so much for the first snow...lol.. |
My Harry hates snow, the girls were curious about it when we did get a few inches back in october, but we are expecting 6 to 10 tomorrow and now that they are older I am very curious to see how they react to it... Prada is 6 months and Chanel is 7 months. hugs, cArmen in nj |
My boys LOVE it! I let them out nekkid though. Only for a few mins but I usually have to call them in. Try letting the girls out nekkid, see if they like that vs being bundled up and not having their full range of motion. I know it sounds weird but maybe they don't like bundled up more than they don't like the snow. I found that to be the case with my boys. They hate clothes. bummer because they look sooo cute in them! :) |
They all Luv it!!!! All my dogs love it. Aiden will take off so fast and Harley fallows best he can with his little legs.Aiden eats it and really enjoys it. He sticks his face right in it. Thank God..I live in New York. We get alot of snow. In fact big storm Friday and Sunday...Tis the season. |
Jealousy!!!! :) I wish i had snow to put my pup in. Not happening anytime soon in FL...We are planning on taking him skiing with us in Feb so he can see it there for a week then be back in the warm weather. YOU ALL ARE LUCKY!!! But, i have to say he loves the sand under his pads and the waves rolling on the shore line, HA!! OOPS SORRY:p |

KaCee on the other hand, isn't so fond of the snow. This is her first snow so maybe it'll take awhile for her to get used to it. She just cowers by the back door (wearing a coat) and takes turns lifting each paw up off the ground! |

Gracie loves to romp around in the snow. Every time she comes back inside she has a snowy mustache and little snowballs all over her feet and legs. :D:D:D |
Mine loved the snow last year. They must have forgotten how much fun it is. When it snowed last week they just made a quick trip out and right back in. When it's snowing we keep a towel in the dryer so that we can turn it on when they go out and then wrap them in it when we let them in. It melts the little snow clingons real fast. Happy snow days puppies! |
No Snow for this Princess  KiKi wanted to go outside...then when I put her down...OMG..she took about ten steps down the driveway and turned around and headed right back to the door! LOL....:p |
I was suprised but Stormy actually doesn't mind the snow, she was very curious at first, I think it may be her first time seeing it but she was licking it and eating it and having fun jumping around in it! lol |
Awwww, Remi and Roxy both love the snow. After they start to look like a couple snowballs, I have to drag them in and get them into warm water to de-ice them, lol. Roxy will roll in it and Remi hops like a bunny. I hope your babies will get used to it and enjoy the winter. |
We tried again.... 4 Attachment(s) We tried going out again today. Holly decided she likes the snow. Gracie still doesn't like it. I got a few pics that came out! They are modeling their HO HO HO sweaters, which got frozen all too quickly! |
They are adorable! And to think I missed meeting them when I was in Bellvue. My daughter came here last trip and I don't see getting back out there for a while. Jan and Feb are going to be pretty busy here as our hospital is expecting TJC and the Magnet group (oh goody!). I was talking to my daughter on video chat last night and she was showing me the snow you are having. Her Bernese Mountain Dog was having a great time rolling in the snow in her yard. Her office and her husbands office were closed yesterday because of snow. We are just starting to get some here. So the fun is just starting. |
