Chip was about 9-10 weeks old and daddy let him try a hot dog for the first time. Well Chip has a sensitive tummy anyways. So we went to bed and were sound asleep with Chip sleeping right between our faces... It was 2 AM and it woke ME up. I do not wake up for ANYTHING when I'm asleep. I woke up and was like "UGH What was THAT?!" so then Adam woke up with the same reaction. Chip just stayed asleep... just like a little baby. Seriously, I've never smelled anything so disgusting in my life! |
My yorkies never fart that I notice. Cleo gets gassy sometimes, but thats because she is a pig and steals snacks from the kids. However, when dh farts, Diesel freaks out! If dh is on his side laying down or on the floor, Diesel will stare at his rear end, bark, almost like if someone is knocking on the door, lol! |
Ok, I *thought* that Missy didn't fart...but after she had some turkey on Christmas day, she really let loose! MAN, it was rough sleeping with her that night. She likes to point her butt right at my face! :p |
Teddy gets scared of his farts. When he farts he tries to run away from himself, if he is laying down he will jump up and run forward LOL They all sleep with us so sometimes one of them will do the silent ones and we will look around and try to find out who it was but its the worst thing cause you're trying to sleep |
sophie does silent but violent farts usually when we are watching tv, the smell just creeps up, although one night i heard her fart cos she was on the pillow next to me, it sounded like a hissing snake but boy it did nt smell like one !! she just moved and sighed like to say "oh well " leaving me pole-axed where i lay !!lol |
I have never ever heard or smelled a fart from Teddi but she doesn't really get treats and I think that those are what makes them fart. |
oh boy ! Well it's good to see that my DOLCE is as much a farter as all his brothers and sisters here.... But my question is..... Does this breed fart more than others...cause my Maltese back home in Australia never farted.....I mean in the 7 years with her I never once smelt a fart... Tia (my Maltese) ate only home cooked food that mum would make for here and still does.....has never been ill or had any probs....... I love my DOLCE....but at times little breaks of wind blow me awayyyyyyyyyyyyy :) |

Docle...thanks so much for finding this thread. It started back in 2008 and I'm glad it found 2009! I'm sitting here LMAO! Sophie has farted on occasion too. However, just this morning she was over by her food dish and I seen her quick look at her backside. Not seeing anything she promptly sat down and lifted a leg and examined some more. She then came running over to me and her little lips were quivering up and down. I couldn't figure for the life of me what was wrong. I asked her and nothing but lip quivers again. It was then I realized she farted! She didn't know what to do or think about it. As for anyone else in the house. If we fart, she moves away. She DOES NOT like people farts! :p |
Sometimes when Emmett lets out ones that make noise he makes a yip noise and runs out of sight. If they are silent he doesnt seem to care. I wonder why that is??? Haha. |
Finally something Buddy has never done. Fart! He gives a nice truck driver burp once in awhile but never Farts:p |
Ok here's our funny story. Laya likes to lay on the back of the couch behind my head. One night I was watching tv and all of a sudden i got this puff of air in my ear. She was lined up just right and farted right in my ear. I could not believe it. It was the funniest thing ever! |
Gunnar did not fart until he started eating bully sticks. I get them from AMD and they don't smell when he eats them, but he eats them so fast that I've learned to expect the SBD farts soon after he is done devouring it. Sometimes he burps too! He just takes in a lot of air I guess. They smell BAD! They don't phase him at all :rolleyes:. Donna |
:eek: I cannot believe this thread!!! It's sooooo funny! :sidesplt: I have a stomach of steel .... well, usually! There's two things that will send me gagging .... one is someone picking their nose and the other ... yep ... farts!!! :rolleyes: When Toto was really young, she would fart and immediately get this horrified look on her face while looking back at her little butt and running all at the same time!! It was soooooo funny!:D Now it's SBD ... she will be snuggled up to me and suddenly be in the next room when I smell it! It sends me to the bathroom gagging! ;) Gotta love 'em! |
