Attention Getters!? Do any of your furbabies do funny things to get your attention? Now that Fiona is a bit older, she is really coming out of her shell that she was in when we first got her, she is more playful, cuddley, and really wants some attention! she has been doing this new thing, where if we are on the bed, she will just look at me, and growl (not a mean one of course) and then jump towards me! the other night I was on the laptop, and everytime I put my fingers on the keys, she was doing the same thing! she is hilarious! any of you deal with this!? ;):eek: |
Cutie actually will come up to me and paw my face if im not looking at her when she wants my attention. and if I stop petting her and she wants more she will paw at my hand to keep on going lol |
Chachi will get up on the top of the couch and cry and bark untill you give him attention. Jewels will just lick you untill you pet her |
Dexter paws a lot. He'll paw my hand, my head, my foot, anything that will make me touch him. Fletcher will jump on the couch and roll around sneezing and barking and growling playfully. Fletcher will also stand in front of the TV if its on facing us and sneeze a lot. |
In the morning when Carlos wants me to get up he will lay on my chest and keep poking me with his nose until I wake up. If I do not get out of bed he makes crying noises until I finally get up. This happens every morning at 7:30am. |
Gracie Ruth pokes me with her nose. And I mean poke! It's not a gentle touch or nudge, it's an unmistakable poke to get my attention. We lost our sweet Annie in March and were blessed enough to have Gracie join us a few weeks later. The first time she did this to me I nearly jumped out of my skin :eek: as that is exactly what Annie would do also. Really freaked me out at first, as I was still grieving the loss but now I just enjoy this connection between Annie and G. :) |
Chloe will nudge her way back under my hand and play growl if I stop petting her , and she will get to my hand even if I put it under a pillow or something. She will also bark at us and after every couple of barks she will stick her tongue out. I guess hair gets in her mouth or her extra teeth make her do it...I don't know but it's so cute we just have to look a her :D Our other doggie Sydney will bring us her "dead rabbit" toy and just sit and stare :eek: until we play with her. But if we take to long she starts barking at us with it in her mouth , like "Come on people it's play time " another thing I think is cute is that when I say go to bed or get in your house ...she will go to her crate , open it and pull the door shut behind her ( Its not locked the door just shuts) and puts herself to bed. She also does it if she has done something wrong , she will punish herself . |
Sophie learned too quickly the joys of the computer, if I'm typing she comes over and hits the keys.... if the computer turns black (power-save) she hits the keys and watches the screen come back on... and now...when I am on the phone with my boyfriend and she wants to play...she just growls at me, while my bf laughs at me on the phone |
