Baby Bags? I am just curious. Everytime I take Pasquale somewhere ,i take a baby bag with me. I put things in it like an extra sweater, a belly band (just in case we stop at someone's house), treats, some toys, and baby wipes. I'm just wondering...am i the only person that does this? My family looks at me like I'm a weirdo. I just tell myself i'm being a responsible mommy. |
I always do this! My parents make fun of me, cuz when I leave I have all this stuff with me, including her baby bag, or as they call it "Mahina's Diaper Bag". I put in a sweater, some pee pads, a toy, a chew, a few treats, a blankie, her food, and if I'm going somewhere besides a house I'll bring a waterbottle and water dish. I think it is being responsible, you never know what's going to happen. You don't want to be stuck somewhere without something to give them. :) I think it's a great idea. |
LL Bean makes a Dog tote with your breed embroidered on it----lots of pockets and even the guys will carry it! I'm buying it with the bunch of $10 gift cards I'm getting for buying stuff online last week. |
I have a pink one, I'm thinking to get now like a hello kitty back pack for them:rolleyes: |
Greta, you mean your going to retire that pink diaper bag? It's one of our special memories of you hehe! I take all sorts of things with me as well when we take our girls places. Even have a doggie organizer hanging in the car with even more things for them. It's like taking babies out. :D |
We use baby bags... The girls have a pink one and Winston's is green. They are "Winnie the Pooh" baby bags, just the right size. |

When I take Chloe out , I take her carrier and use the pockets for a baggie of treats and some wipes . So that's all I usually carry with me. Then in a separate little light weight shoulder bag ( like for a laptop) I put in pee-pads , bottle of water and small baggie of extra food , wipes , leash and harness , porta bowls ...etc. and just leave it in the trunk so I have it if needed. And if were on a long day of walking/shopping dh can carry that without looking silly. |
:) I do the same thing for LuLu. I have 2; one is pink and the other one I found at Wal-mart. It is black and very hard & soft, zips across the top with a place for her to peek through. The best thing though is it has "LuLu Pink" embroidered on it. I just couldn't resist. |

I don't take anything with me. I might take a blanket for Lucie because she's so small she gets cold easier, but other than that I don't take anything. But then again I also don't take either of them to anyone's house with me, or anything like that. If we go on a longer car ride I take water, that's about it. |

I take a nappy bag with me for my daughters when we go out (drink, snack, nappies, dummy and spare change of clothes for my youngest) and I use the second compartment for Twinkles stuff - water bottle and bowl (if we are going on a long walk or to someone's house), poop bags, wipes and treats. I don't drive so I like to have everything with me when I'm out because it would be a long walk back sometimes if I needed something for them in an emergency xx xxx |
I always take a bag full of things for molly...i think its probably more work than taking a toddler out for the day! :D |
I always have a bag for the babies with me when I take them somewhere. I always take treats, regular food, a bottle of water, baby wipes, their brush and comb, hair bands, and a small bowl. My family laughs (in a good way) and says I'm better prepared for them than I was when my skin kids were babies! But, I'm the one who has everything in her purse, too! If anyone needs something, they always ask me for it! |
I always take a baby bag with me. It has an extra leash and harness since my boys chew theirs all the time. It has stufffed squeaky toys, food, their vaccination paperwork, their diapers and some of the liners for them, an empty bowl for water, some poop bags, treats and a brush. In winter I throw in their little sweatshirts. It has come in handy a lot of times. If anything happens to me also I can get someone to come pick them up and take them immediately without having to take the extra trip to my house. I think it is a responsible thing to do! :) |
