Announcing the arrival of: DIVA! 1 Attachment(s) Hi All! This is my first post here and I'd like to use it to introduce my new baby...Diva. She's a tiny little thing. She's an early Christmas present at only 6 weeks old. I wasn't supposed to get her until January but her mom started lashing out at her pups so Miss Diva arrived early. We had our first vet visit yesterday and she weighs in at 1.7 lbs. I'm excited, overwhelmed, in love and sleep deprived. I've learned so much from this site as I've always had much larger mutts. This is my first petite pup. Oh what an adventure! |
Congratulations on getting Diva! She is very cute!! |
Congrats on your new baby! She is adorable! :D |
Congrats she is just adorable. Since she is so tiny and young, the most important thing is to make sure she is eating frequently and have nutrical on hand in case she gets a little low sugar. She is so cute and looks like a little Diva |
Welcome to YT!! Congrats on your new pup:) |
Thanks everyone! I bought the NutriCal before picking her up on Tuesday. Very glad she likes it as getting her to eat has been a challenge. We've become quite the biter today so I'm working on nipping (no pun intended) that in the bud. |
She is a sweetie! Congrats on the Christmas baby! |

Precious! She is precious! Thanks for sharing pics of little Diva.:) |
She's ADORABLE! I got Missy at 7 weeks old. I had to watch her closely for signs of her blood sugar dropping. In the beginning, I was having to give her Nutrical 3 times per day. I slowly weened her down after the first couple of weeks, and now at 12 weeks of age she's doing great. To get Missy to eat enough, I had to soften her kibble, mash it with a fork, and mix in a bit of canned food with it. Sometimes I'd even have to handfeed her the moosh just to get her appetite going. Now, she's a straight Kibble girl. I"m sure you'll do great. Have fun, and enjoy! She's a sweetheart! |
She's very cute. Congrats. :) |
Congratulations on becoming Diva's Mom! I know you'll both be very happy. May I ask, was this Diva's doggie Mother's first litter, or did she perhaps have a larger than usual litter? Just wondering why she was pushing them away. Nipping at them or walking away so they can't nurse as much is the way that the mothers usually wean their pups. |
awwww Diva is just precious!!!! Congratulations!!!She's so tiny......she only weighs one oz less than my little Tulip!!! (she's 4 1/2 mo. old) :D |
