| When we start accepting picture submissions for our calendar, we invite all YorkieTalk Donating Members to submit pictures of their Yorkies. As a way to thank the members who have contributed to our community and helped support our site, we include the Yorkies of our Donating Members in the YorkieTalk calendar.
Then the YorkieTalk staff that works on the calendar has the difficult decision of which pictures to choose for the calendar. We try to include as many different members as we can in the calendar. For the 2009 calendar, we included approximately 146 different YorkieTalk members. We will announce to YT Donating Members when we start taking picture submissions.
We do plan on working on the calendars sooner this year. Thus far, we have had 3 reports of members not yet receiving their calendars. We guarantee that everyone that orders a calendar will get one, even if we have to mail a second order. The US Postal Service unfortunately does not guarantee delivery dates nor do they provide actual tracking information, as they only offer Delivery Confirmation or Signature Confirmation.
YorkieTalk also does fundraisers for our community and we do an annual fundraiser for a Yorkie rescue group. |
