do have this problem with your yorkie Molly wants to bite her back end a lot. What is the sign of? Her bowel movement is really dark. Didn`t know if she was allergy to something or not. |
Daisy does the same thing, she is always biting or scratching herself. I checked just to make sure she didnt have fleas it didnt look like anything but dry skin. Im interested in what everyone has to say about this. |
Poor baby! :( There are glands at the base of the tail that can be affected by allergies. Do you notice her licking/chewing her front legs/paws or are the inside of her ears red? These are also signs of allergies. Probably food, as I doubt there's too much in the air in Indiana at this time of year to upset her. Does she seem to be straining to go potty? Could she be just a little constipated? Do you notice her scooting her butt on the floor? A little canned pumpkin can help to regulate her. Real pumpkin, not the pumpkin pie filling. You can always call your vet to see if they have any ideas/suggestions. |
Its funny you mentioned the front paws, Daisy always has her paws in her mouth. I just changed her food to Natural Balance/ sweet potato & venison. I hope it helps her, I have a vet apt in a week so if theres no change ill have them check it out! |
