Lethargic... I'm worried! Bridget had a pretty busy weekend - lots of play dates and exercise. Last night she conked out early and slept like a log. This morning she was up and has gone potty, but I haven't seen her drink her water or eat anything. She's really mopey and moving slowly. She's not playing with her toys or running around like she usually does. Right now she's curled up in her bed sleeping. Is she just a little tuckered out, or should I take her to the vet? Should I give her some nutrical? Please help, this new mommy Bridget is 13 months old. I adopted her at 11 months. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! |
I would try some nutrical. Keep us posted. If she's not drinking she could get dehydrated. So watch her carefully. Good luck. |
Sometimes they just have "down" days but if she has diarhea or anything, I would take her in. |
Yes, I would give her some nutrical and try giving her some water by a syringe too, just to make sure that she won't dehydrate. Keep an eye on her, if she's not better by tonight I would call the vet. Hopefully she's just wiped out, and she'll get back to herself soon. |
Nutrical won't hurt but they're so much like little kids I bet she's tired from her busy weekend and catching up - I would take the advise you just got and watch her and make sure she is normal when she's up ....poor baby...playing is hard work ! |
