CRUNCH TIME! I MUST get these boys to pose for a Christmas card pic... ok, so I see so many of you with these amazingly perfect pictures of your furbabies...and theres Remy & Roscoe! Hah!:animal36 I have been trying for DAYS (and I mean days...) to get the boys to pose for a picture that I could use for our Christmas card this year. I CANNOT get them to stay still, get close, or come even remotely close to taking a cute picture. Of course, when we are out or I do not have my camera they cuddle and do all kinds of cute things...but NEVER when I have the camera. That would make things too easy! ;) They are getting baths tonite and it's my last attempt to get them looking pretty (excuse me-i mean handsome) and hopefully get a picture of them. HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU ALL GET THEM TO POSE...OR AT LEAST STAY STILL!!!??:D |
It happened for me the for the first time. Today with the help of DH. He took the pics while I held treats up high. Do yours know to sit and stay? Mine would sit but Brutis is stubborn so he jumped down. But when I held up the treat, they would look at it, but it appeared that they were looking right at the camera. yeah they are usually good at sit and stay but for some reason when I hold the treat and have the camera out they get super excited and forget all of their manners. Haha. I will have to keep trying!!! Hopefully it will happen:rolleyes: |

I was on my knees and I had my daughter position the three of them and my son was standing behind me witha pot cover and a wooden spoon and as soon as my daughter moved her hand out of the way my son banged on the pot cover with the wooden spoon and that was enough time to snap a few pictures. We looked like total fools but managed to get a couple of nice ones. My Coco is so good that he was getting tired of waiting for the girls and just layed right there. After a while Coco and Pebbles just sat there and didn't fight it just waiting for the baby, Trixie,12 weeks, to stop fooling around. They started out wearing outfits. Coco the male was in a santa suit and the girls were in elf suits but it was too much trouble Coco's hat kept falling off and the babies were playing with each others pompoms. It was easier without any costumes or props. I just put a pretty bow in the girls hair. I have alot of practice with this because I have 4 skin kids I take pictures of each year for Christmas. Now I send pictures of the puppies for Christmas cards. I'm crazy I guess. :aimeeyork COCO :aimeeyork PEBBLES :aimeeyork TRIXIE GOOD LUCK ! ! |
I believe in this forum I have a thread titles picture taking, or something to that effect. You can search it and see all the great advice I received. HTH!!! |

OMG laughing here. Personally I think the playing with the pom poms would be adorable! |
My trick, I think, is fear! LOL I have GREAT success putting my two in baskets or on a slippery coffee table. They are so afraid they dont move. Then all I have to say is BYE BYE, The both tilt their heads, in opposite directions and look at me so happy. It works every time! |
The only problem with playing with the pompoms is that they were around their necks, so Trixie was pulling Pebbles sideways. They make me crazy. I was sweating. Why do we do this to ourselves? I know because they are so cute.:grinhat: :aimeeyork COCO :aimeeyork PEBBLES :aimeeyork TRIXIE |
