i was wondering if anyone had a "doggy list" for camping, other then the obvious food, towel blanket, crate, and toys......... anything else????

First aid kit, mosquito stuff, wet washclothes or papertowel in ziplock for cleaning things like faces and eyes,

got the first aid, and the cloths, i am going to bring his pjs that i made (just in case he gets a little chilled (we are going to fernwood......... and guess there is a fresh water river that runs through there so we are going to be in the water a lot)

don't forget tweezers and alcohol in case of ticks, and nutrical. Maybe some neosporin or some lotion for his paws, so they don't get raw.

Defiently dont forget bug spray/repellents- something safe for dogs. And dont forget proof of rabies shot. Its required in Texas, so I wouldnt be surprised if it was in other states too. You'll probobly want collapable dog food/water bowls too- easy for hikes. Have fun! I wish I could go camping but its too hot right now. Gotta wait at least another month.

Dog Brush to comb out the stickers.. I like to take alot of paper towels for cleaning up. :rolleyes:

Sounds like you are prepared. maybe a life jacket if there is water or you are doing any boating. Oh, and of course, the CAMERA!

i dotn think we are going boating socalyorkilvr, i dont swim to well in fresh water (less salinity which means i am "heavier" in river water and it is harder to swim) i dont think the river is big enough to boat actualy :confused: if anything i will have floaties to lounge on tied with rope to keep us from drifting ..... i am keeping an eye on the petstores, but they dont have toby's size in lifejackets, i need to wait till their shipment comes in
