Should I be concerned??
 
Ok so this weekend, I've noticed Coco is sleeping a lot more. We have been having non-stop playdates and 2 hour dog park play time. Am I just wearing her out? She's been sleeping quite a bit. When she's awake, she's full of energy and loves running around and being herself, but she's been really sleepy. I know as they get older they calm down a bit, but I think I'm just planning too many playdates for her and it might be wearing her out. She's had playdates almost everyday this last week and this weekend, for hours on end. What do you think??

Since she has had so many playdates and activities lately I would have to say yeah she is more than likely just worn out. My dogs have been really lazy lately cause we have been going between houses and stuff. They get to run around at the new house and explore and they have had alot of furry visitors lately also welcoming us to the new neighborhood.

I wouldn't really worry. :) :) Coco is a popular girl ;)

Here's a picture of her sleeping right now, since we got home at 630pm. It's now 830pm.

She probably is just tired out from all the excitement. How's the temperature where you are? Could she be getting a little over heated?

Is she fixed? Pita got real sleepy when she was coming into heat.

No she's not fixed yet. Her appointment is this thursday. I don't think she's in heat. I've found no evidence of it but I guess I didn't think about it. It has been scorching hot but pretty warm. So I think I'm just tiring her out. Hmm I will have to look into the heat thing a bit more. Isn't she too young though? She's just turning 6 months?

She really was sleepy!! But if I got up and cleaned up her toys, she would suddenly be at my feet wagging her tail as if to say "OK OK I'm awake, lets play"

That sure is a lot of activity for her, she might just be worn out. Maybe cutting back on her playdates might let you see if her "tiredness" has changed. If not then possibly a vet check up might be in order for her.

I think she's just plain zonked!!! She looks so comfy - I want to curl up next to her!!

I know she was soo warm looking and cozy, that I curled up next to her and she just dug her face under my neck and just kept on sleeping. We got home from the playdate at like 630 or so and she slept till like 830, played a bit, and we went to sleep at 1030. But I have to remember that she didn't take her usual naps either. She usually naps extra in the mornings after breakfast and in the afternoons but this weekend was all go go go.
