Tomorrow is Jo-Jo's big day...
 
Jo is getting neutered in the morning...he's criptorchid so it's not the usual neuter. He'll also have 1 retained baby tooth removed. We'll drop him off at 8:30 and they'll call when he's out...we'll be able to bring him home tomorrow evening but he'll be out of it for a while. The vet already let us know he'll be in some pain because of the way this surgery is done so I'm trying to prepare myself for that...I'm a wimp when it comes to my babies hurting! Please keep good thoughts for him...and me! I hope he doesn't hate me when it's over... :(

Thank you Kelly, Olivier and Kristin. I'm pretty nervous for Jo but he doesn't have a clue even though I explained everything to him! I wonder if he was even listening... :rolleyes:

Good luck tommorrow - just think of all the spoiling he'll get - I hope everything goes well...if you get stressed come here and talk - it really helps :)

I am sure Jo Jo will do great.
We just had Max and Milo done last week - both on the same day. I was very nervous...Max also had three teeth pulled and Milo had four.

They did just great and so will your little guy !

He's in our thoughts !

I know exactly how you feel...Last weekend Gracie was spayed and I didn't want her to be in pain or to hate me...it was just the opposite she wanted to cuddle me ALL the time...and if you get the pain medication they are fine....It knocks em out and they sleep alot but she didn't cry and she is a BIG wimp Good luck with everything, I will keep jojo in my thoughts!!!

Good evening everyone...Jo is home and resting comfortably. He came home sporting the latest fashion in e-collars..it's just lovely. I was surprised to see him actually almost run up to me when we got there...I thought he'd be out of it or at least not interested in walking at all. He has pain pills and antibiotics for the next few days and goes back to have the stitches taken out in 10 days. He's sticking pretty close and just wants to rest next to you but he's kind of shaky when you pick him up. He had a little soft food and water for dinner and everything seems fine so far. We have his playpen set up in the living room and the e-collar is off for now but we're supposed to put it on him when we can't watch him...I'm not sure what we'll do at bedtime though. Thank you all for the good thoughts and well wishes!
