I found my new baby! 2 Attachment(s) I have been searching for months and have spoken to some wonderful people while I was looking for my new little girl! I finally found her. She is just so beautiful. I am so happy! Her name is Scarlett Rose (Or Scarlett Isabella) My 4 yr old said her Name was Carly and cried when I tried to name her Isabella. She said her name is Carly! I made it work. I LOVE Gone With the Wind. It's my favorite movie. I played with the spelling, too. Carly, Carlie, Karlie, Carleigh. But figured being short for Scarlett, that Carly worked best. So, is she my little Carly Rose or Carly Belle? lol Meet Scarlett, better known around here as Carly! |

You said you had a 4 year old....i have a 3 year old...im going to add you as a friend... i havent got my yorkie yet...and i would like if you could keep me posted on how well they get along...im not exactly sure how long i should wait till i get mine...i was thinking when my daughter is 5...let me know how it goes with your babies...because i might need advice later! |
1 Attachment(s) Thank you! She gets along with Gabby. But Shadow? He is huge compared to her and he runs from her! lol (they had both just had a bath and brushing, hair up. Both rolled around and dragged on the floor before I could get pictures. Little stinkers. Gabby is growing out and I can't stand it. Poor thing. I cut her short for the first time in summer. Now it's a mess! lol) |

My little girl loves them! She was saying Gabby was hers and Shadow was mine. But now she says Carly is hers and the other two are mine. lol She's so much smaller than Shadow was when we got him. We got Gabby back in Feb of '07 when my little girl was younger. So she doesn't remember her never being here with us. Now my cat? the first time he saw her, He was looking at her and his tail was swishing. I think he thought she was a mouse! lol Now he just stays away from her. Shadow is the only one Smokey will play with. lol |

First of all awwwwwwwwwwwww on the new baby. Isn't it just the BEST feeling after all of the research and searching to finally find "the one" you know God had planned for you??? We are so alike. I am a "GOne with the Wind" fanatic and was determined to name my next one Scarlett, but my daughter is on this Japanese kick, and I decided to defer to something that went well with Mika (her sister in Atlanta, soon to be coming home I think) Yesterday I was switching over to at&t everything, and one of the security questions was what is your favorite movie. I can quote you just about that whole script. I've seen it maybe 100 times. |

Thank you so much everyone! I am so in love with her. Shadow still runs. lol Poor thing shakes and everything! hard to believe. Gone With The Wind is such a wonderful movie. I'm so glad I was finally able to use something from the movie for one of my babies. |

How is it working out with your small child and a Yorkie pup? We lost our 15 year old Yorkie recently. My children are very young, we had kept them away from Pebbles because she was deaf and getting old (didn't want to scare her). I'm curious if anyone has opinions on what a good age for children would be to have a Yorkie pup. |

Thank you everyone! My little girl is great with them. It's Gabby thats acting up! She thinks it's a new chew toy for her! She gets so excited and she will have her soaking wet! I have to stop it, before she gets too carried away. I caught her in the bigger dogs food bowl! She climbed on into her crate tonight to go to take a nap. I couldn't believe it! I work from home and pull the night shift. I don't get off til 7am. So I ahve her sleeping on me right now. She climbs up on my shoulder and will try to sleep there. pebs, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I don't really know what to suggest. All kids are different. How do you think they would handle a new one? If you're worried you could go for one of the bigger ones. They're all beautiful, no matter what size they are. |

I am going to wait at least a year or two. My children are so young, I'm just so afraid they wouldn't be gentle enough with a small pup. I remember how tiny they are as puppies! My parents are thinking about getting one- that would be the best of both worlds. We could see it whenever we wanted. |

Thank you Everyone! Brodi mom, he says it's his puppy. lol He's always making over her and giving her kisses. He is so good with animals. I know, it did take me a while. I found a couple that were so gorgeous. Nicki has beautiful pups and I wanted one of hers so bad. If anyones looking for one, you need to check out her site and take a look at those beauties! |
