I'd Say Today Was a Good Day I've been having a few problems with the Yorkie I might adopt, but today was pretty good. He only marked once or twice in the house on his belly band. We went to the park, and found a little poodle/havenese/white dog of some sort that he played with for quite a bit. He did not whine when we left. On the way home we also saw a friendly cat, who lives with a lab and obviously liked dogs. He ran over and then ran away and would hide in the bushes as if to pounce. It was really cute. Max was really good and didn't whine or anything like he did when he first met my cat. Now they play chase a lot. Aye, today was pretty good. How was your day with your Yorkie? Vanessa |
Glad to hear that Panne's behavior was good today. |
Sounds like your baby is getting nicely adjusted to all his new friends and his home. The marking is his "claim" to his new digs. :D |
aww I'm happy everything is working out! You have been really good working with Panne. I hope you get him. I think that I mentioned that Suzie has issues with Chachi and Izze going near her food...and she'll attack them. Because of that, Izze wouldn't dare close her eyes around Suzie or trust her... but since i've been working with them, Izze hasn't been going after Suzie's food--or if she has she listens to her warning, thus no attack! And today, they both fell asleep on my chest :) And I took a nap...lol Also, since Izze is warming up to Suzie---she is now coming on the bed in the morning. First thing I do is let them out...and then we go back under the covers.... and they love it. Suzie an Izze don't sleep with me because Suzie sleeps in her bag and Izze hates sleeping on the bed...she'll jump. So that's my day. We've made some progress, too. ETA: Suzie and Izze were always play buddies---they play hard all the time. Izze just didn't trust her lol and I don't blame her. |
