What the heck does he want? :questione It so funny! And I wonder if any of your babies do this too! The Gooch jumps and jumps up trying to get on the couch with me, so I pick him up and put him up there with me. Then he goes to the edge and wants to get down again!!! He actually sits there and grunts and cries to get back down. So I let him. ANd what does he do? He jumps up again!!!!!!!:confused: It's so funny , but I don't get it!!!!!!!! ( I am looking at him right now and he is so stinkin cute!!!) LOL! |
My babies do this too. I think they just want to make you crazy. They really are soooo cute. You just can't ignore them so they go lay down and rest. They just have to keep trying to get up. Then jump down. My little guy gets a bone or a toy, jumps on the couch or bed and has to chew on it right at the edge of the bed so it keeps falling onto the floor then he jumps down gets it climbs up the steps gets back on the bed and goes right to the edge again. YES! You nailed it. Same thing here. I trained my lil guy (that I'm having a trial period with) to sit next to the couch if he wants to get up since I don't like him to jump on people/furniture. He could jump on the couch himself but I don't want him to unless I allow him on the couch or my bed. So, he sits and looks at me, I put him up. He jumps down. And the process continues! |

This sounds like the stage babies go through when they throw all the toys out of their crib and then cry if you don't put them all back in. Your dogs are probably having a fabulous time with their new game - they're getting lots of attention! |
Harley is this way with our bed, which he can not get on or off with out help. He will come to my side of the bed, put his front paws up as high as he can and then when I go to pick him up he runs to the other side! Then once I scoot to the other side of the bed he will lay out completely flat on the floor so that I basically have to get off the bed to get him. He will lay down about two seconds before he will scoot as close to the edge of the bed as he can without falling off - so that I will put him back on the floor! This is the process that we go through if someone goes to bed and someone stays up, Harley isn't happy until mommy and daddy are both in the bed with him! Jeri and Harley:aimeeyork |
LOL that is tooo funny!!! Daizy will not jump on our sofa...but she'll sit on the floor looking at me and just whine and fuss...I do EVERYTHING I can think of...then she starts is ALL over again...whining...I give her a treat...more whining...I throw a toy over for her...whine whine...I take her outside...more whining still...this can go on for an hour or two!!! LOL CALGON TAKE ME AWAY....some days I think even THEY don't know what they want!! Oh yeah Welcome to YT!!!!!! |
