I just don't know.... if I could love this little fella any more than I already do. He is so precious and he just fits in with our family. My dh, even though he was totally against fur babies in the house, absolutely adores him. This man NEVER changed our human kids diapers unless an absolute emergency, but he takes Maximus to his pee pad regularly, of course, it always ends with them two playing together. The other morning Maximus was trying to bite my fingers while I was holding him, and I gave him a stern, "No bite!" and dh said, "Don't you yell at him." ROFLOL It is SO funny to see how much he loves "my" dog, although he claims he is HIS. I love the lil' booger! I am fairly new to Yorkie Talk and I am so thrilled to have a place to ask questions and share my new baby with! |
Awwww....I am so happy to hear that your new furbaby is adapting so well (and dh too! LOL) My dh felt the same way, no animals in the house and certainly not on the furniture, but just this evening I caught him giving her a tiny bit of his corn chip while she was sitting by him on the chair! :D |
Isn't it cute to watch our big strong men turn to mush over a tiny puppy? :p |
Hahahhaha, too cute! Reminds me of my husband. He didn't want a puppy either. The second he saw her though, his heart went to mush. Now he calls Missy "his girl", and she's the first to get a kiss when he comes home from work :) |
My husband was against getting a yorkie...or a dog even at first too....even though i dont have mine yet...he is warming up to the idea...and is actually excited...he has never had a dog before...and i was like..."you dont know what your missing". But how can you look at a face like Maximus and not fall in love? My hubby even saids now that he is comforable with his masculinity to walk a little yorkie in pink bows and a dress, in public...now that is progress! :D |
Aw, these guys aren't fooling anyone. We've been thru the whole gambit too. And every 'rule' DH made he was the first to break. :p These little ones sure do know how to charm their way into your hearts. My DH now puts Gracie Ruth's hair up in a top knot every day. If it's "cold" and she'll need to wear something out, he'll even coordinate the scrunchies/bows with her outfit. I came home from work the other day and he had her hair up in 2 pig tails - with matching sparklely barrettes too! Of course she looked absolutely precious! I don't know who looked more pleased, G or my DH. lol |
My boyfriend was the same way, well is still. But Im sure that will all change once I bring my little girl home today. |
haha, my boyfriend is the same way. He was totally against me getting a yorkie, But now he just loves her - I always catch him making baby noises and being silly with her. |
When Lexi was a baby, I would put her hair in a pony tail and he would just be disqusted! However last night when I put her hair up, he commented how cute it looked. He is definatly coming around! |
