just wondering about this, something seems odd
 

i recently received this email after looking for a yorkie in the online classifieds for my county in alabama. it said that the classified was for a dog in a neighboring city but the email apparently appears to be from a different country. i really want a yorkie and the little one it showed was the most adorable thing i have ever seen but im not sure what to make of the email. i recieve lots of emails similar to this one that goes straight to my spam box, but never one regarding a pet. someone please help me with this, it just seems too wierd to dismiss as legitimate.

this puppy will be ship from Cameroon and that will take just about 8hurs some 36minits to rich to your locality okay .. however, i can have her shipped to you if you can assure me that you will take proper care of her by answering to the below questions

Welcome to YT! Sorry, but this definately sounds like a scam to me. Whenever they ask you to send money "upfront" for shipping, it is very fishy. Also, If she were really in your area, it woudn't cost that much to ship -- and you could just go and pick her up free of charge. I would keep looking.

Its a scam they are trying to scam people out of the shipping amount. Whenever you see Cameroon as their location just know its a scam

yeah i figured it would be. im having no luck at all finding a yorkie in my area. i really really want one!:(

Don't be disheartened. I'm sure you're perfect little furbutt will be found soon. In the meantime though you've now got YT to learn everything there is to know about Yorkie's, a ton of stories to read to prepare you for the terror you're little one will put you through and best of all 100s of new friends to make. ;)

lol, yeah. ive had a small shih tzu and a chiuhauau so i know the stuff they can put you through, lol. after my shih tzu died i warded off animals all together. but my husband brought home a rabbit one day and it warmed me up again. then a friend of ours came over one night and brought her pomeranian. he was loving all over me and i enjoyed it. i told my husband i thought we should get a dog. he wanted a mastiff or something like that but i told him we were getting a yorkie. i cant have anymore children so i need a furbaby to cuddle and spoil. lol. im just not having the luck i thought i would. everywhere i look turns up as spam from another country, just trying to scam me out of money. :fallen:anyways, wish me luck...:xfingers: i have ALL this love to give to him or her:wub:
