Kennel together or apart? I have a 1 1/2 year old toy male yorkie around 4.5 lbs and just got a female teacup. She's about 2 lbs and they get along great. I was thinking about kenneling the female when I leave and leaving the male out since that is what he is use to. Is this a bad idea? As far as I know she hasn't been kenneled but the owner I purchased her from was home almost all of the time. |
I would put the teacup back in the cupboard and let the yorkies be together unless one is more aggressive. BTW all yorkies are toys.. anyway, IF the new girl is potty trained already, then she should be safe to be out with your boy (unless, he is aggressive) You might try an x-pen instead of a kennel so she has a bit more room to move around and you can place food, toys and a potty pad in it for her. BUT she probably wil cry some too seeing the other one running free... |
