I have two. My new Yorkie (Missy), and a pug dog (Tang). I'd get more if I didn't have 3 children under the age of 6. I've pretty much got my hands full :p |
We have 6 dogs 1 German Shephard 1 Blue Heeler / Rottweiler mix 1 Black Lab 1 Jack Russell Terrier 2 Yorkies |
I have one yorkie, Teddi, who is 2 years old and one standard poodle, Cassie, who is 14 years old. I would love love more yorkies but I won't get any because I like that I can travel with Teddi, if I had another I wouldn't be able to travel with it. The other reason is that my neighbor had one yorkie and she was great but then she got another and they just barked up a storm and started peeing all over the house and I think they were just competiting with each other. I don't want that....plus I love my little girl so much I can't imagine sharing the love with another little one. I like that my 2 are so different because they are each special on their own way BUT...TO EACH HIS OWN. |
I have FIVE dogs ages THREE and UNDER! Male Yorkie -- Hobbs -- 3 years old Female Yorkie -- Hootie -- 2.5 years old Male Black Lab -- Lamar -- 2 years old Yellow Female Lab -- Belle -- 1 year old Chocolate Male Lab -- Goose -- 12 weeks old |
I have four "furbabies" Hope, YT, 2 years old. Tootie, YT, 3 years old. Tinker, chi mix, 7 years old. Laci, yellow lab, 6 years old. There are 90 pounds between Hope and Laci and they are the best of buds... tootie and Laci are the funnest wrestling buddies ever... I love my little "herd"! d |
I have two and am looking for a third. I have a 10 year old male Maltese and a 4yr old male Rottweiler. I joined YT b/c Yorkies are on my short list for my next pup. Mini Schnauzers, Shih Tzu and another Maltese are also on the short list. In addition to Rotties, I also am smitten with Dobermans, Standard Poodles and Giant Schnauzers. How cool would it be to have one of each, LOL. |
Team Furry: Teapot Yorkie, Dayzee Havanese, Bailey Biewers: Itzi, GeeGee, Cruiser, Abbi spend their time here. Would like more, but my hands are full. |
My family I have three dogs. My yorkie Rico who's 2..And the other two are cocker spaniels: Duke and Brandy..they're 13..Can you guess who the alpha dog is? lol. I also have two cats: Mootsie and Tootsie. I think they're about 6 yrs old. This is definitely a small family compared to what I had before: 2 dogs and 5 cats..They're all my babies though..sigh |
We have 4 dogs: Jessie-Boxer-10 years Katie-Boxer- 7 years Holly-Yorkie-2 years Bella-Doberman- 9 months We also have 2 cats: Patches-5 years Tristan- 2 years And 3 birds-2 cockatiels and 1 love bird. Currently We only have one, but we're also in a new country and newly married, so the numbers will be increasing. Our next dog will be bigger, probably a German Shepard that someone no longer wants because their husband is deploying and they can't handle it. That'll be whenever we're ready:D |
i only have one yorkie, but we are inseparable. my vet told me that if i decide to start working i should get another dog to keep milu company, but milu already has 3 bunnies. :D i would like another dog, but i am not sure if i can take good care of 2 dogs because i worry too much about them. but i would like to get another one. ;) |

I think that you'd worry less about them--I know that I do... I don't worry that they are very bored, because they have each other... I know that they have a good time. They have another to speak their language... You should get another. You just do the same thing twice... at the same time.... except for walks, which yu can do together :) Get Milu a buddy :D |
I live with seven but only three of them are mine. A sheltie X, a corgi X and an APBT. When I move I want to find my yorkshire terrier. I almost had one a year ago; but, Sandy found me instead. :) Six is my limit, honestly. I have my hands ful with seven. I'm just glad only 3 of them are my FULL responsibility. :aimeeyork |
We have 2 large dogs....Dakota is our largest dog weighing in at 80 lbs...and Izzy our border collie weighing about 40 lbs.. Then I got Daizy my yorkster..8 months ago...she weighs 5 1/2 lbs.....and then my daughter got an 8 lb yorkie and I JUST GOT MY NEWEST MEMBER OF THE FAMILY TULIP she is a yorkie 12 weeks old weighing in at 1 lb 8 oz. .....so we live with 5 dogs!!! And is it ever exciting around here!!! So we own 135 lbs...of Dogs~ |
I have 6 dogs. I have 2 Yorkies, 1 Cocker Spaniel, 1 American Bulldog, 1 Mastiff/Shepherd mix and 1 Chow/Mastiff mix. My husband says I am at my limit. Well actually over my limit. |
I am owned by 3 I have 3 small dogs: A Japanese Chin, a Chihuahua mix, and a Yorkie. All of them are female and my town only allows me 5 adult animals, so the 2 cats bring me to my limit. If I could, I'd own another Yorkie and another Chin. Both breeds are wonderful, although if I'd gotten the Yorkie first, I may have just stuck with the one breed. My Chihuahua mix is needy and I won't go for another, but I do love her. She's dealing with having to share being held with my Yorkie and its been going okay. Out of the three making the adjustment, my Chihuahua mix is handling it the worst. She's growling and acting out. I think in the future it will probably just be Yorkies. I never thought that this breed would be so wonderful, but they are. As soon as I laid eyes on my Allie Bear (Yorkie) I fell in love with her. She is 5 almost 6 and I can't believe the huge personality on such a small dog, she's only 4 lbs. I just love her. |
