Stashing treats I just cleaned out Preslees crate so I could wash all her bedding and toys that she has in there. SHe has this little tiny pink blanket that SophieDog gave her when we got our pup in her crate as well as her little bed. Well, her little pink blanket has to be in there or she has a fit. So Im cleaning everything out of there to get it nice and clean and what do I find stashed in her little pink blankey?? A WEEKS WORTH THE TREATS!!!!!1 The little snot has been stashing her treats in that blanket. All the treats I have given her in her crate have been stashed. LOL. |
LOL ! Didn't she go NUTS when you touched the blanket ? That is so cute ! Cheri stashes hers in her bed ....Chanel used to have them behind doors...in the corners of the couch ...under cabinets - she made a HUGE production of finding just the right spot and then would bury them with imaginary covers thinking we couldn't see them - they are such little sneaks.... |
When I was pulling everything out of her cage she kept stalking me. Then when the other dogs or the cat would come in the room she would chase them out. Memphis always stashes his stuff under my pillow on the bed. Nice huh?? |
Aw how sneaky! Preslee sounds like a real cutie! |
Too funny. Did you give them back? After all she did go through all that trouble to hide and save them. LOL :) |
Gracie is horrible at stashing treats! I find chewies in my dirty clothes, the couch, under rugs. It never ceases to amaze me! She will even push the clothes, rug, whatever with her nose like she's covering it up with dirt! |
LOL! That is too funny! |

Yay for Preslee! She was just saving them for a snack sometime. what a rascal! |
My one Biewer girl is the champ at squirreling away treats. She gets in line first, grabs hers, disappears and then butts in line again for another one. After they're gone, I go over to the sofa dig out her stash and start handing them out again. It's a fun game. |
How cute! Lida give up trying to stash things, Cosie always finds them first! Lida will either eat the treat or push it away with her nose! Glad that blanket came in handy for her, at first I thought she was attached to it, then after reading the whole thread figured out it was the treats she was attached to! Have you ever seen a blankey so tiny? Lida has to have hers whenever we go somewhere, but she doesn't want it out where Cosie can get to it though! |
That's cute Kelly. Preslee is a little slick rick. |

I did give all the treats back. I watched her last night when I put her in her crate. She holds the treat in her mouth til the light goes out and its just the nite light on. Then she takes her treat to the corner of her cage, drops it, and drags her little blanket over the top. Then burries it more with her nose like she is covering it with dirt. Too cute to watch her. ALl the time she kept looking over her shoulder to see where I was cause the door hadn't been shut yet. LOL |
That is too funny! When Rocky gets a treat, he walks around with it in his mouth and whines and cries until he finds the perfect hiding spot. The crying is hilarious! My husband usually "helps" him bury it in the couch so he will stop whining! And after all of that trouble, he won't eat treats! He hates them! |
NO one here hides treats. They eat them too fast. But missy when peg will cover her water and food all the time. Yorkies are so cleaver. |
