Expecting Yorkie Mama? I am excited and wanted to post that my Yorkshire Terrier, Rosie, may be expecting a litter....her first and only one!! She wasn't all that thrilled about being tied...she cried and cried. I had to hold her still...she kept trying to pull away. Poor baby. I have never heard her cry like that. I have a feeling she will not be quiet(like her sister was) when having the pups! We will see.:) |
I am so happy for you, my Rosey had her first litter in July and was an excellent mommy...Congrats to you!! Jackson:aimeeyork Gracie:aimeeyork Tucker:aimeeyork Rosey:aimeeyork Abbie:aimeeyork |

Oh! Congratulations to your Rosey and her first litter...in July. How many pups were in her litter? Did you assist with the whelping? Have you sold all of the pups already? |
Thank you, no I did not have to help her at all, I was there for her if she needed me, but she did it all on her own. She had 2 boys and they are with there forever parents, we do miss them but are thankful that they went to such loving homes!!! I am so glad to hear that she had two healthy boys! My Lily had two litters and I needed to help her with both of them. They were so tiny 2-4 oz and she was a little rough trying to bite off the umbilical cord, wanting to pull too hard causing bleeding. Once I cut the umbilical cords though, she was great! I just had Lily spayed last month. Her sister, Rosie, will have just this one litter and then we will have her spayed as well. :aimeeyork |
