I feel horrible for my boyfriend.... Ok, I'm not really sure where to begin, but I'm really feeling bad for my boyfriend right now, and I don't know what else I can do, or if it's too late. Let me explain..... I am 26 years old, and my boyfriend is 39...he has 3 grown kids, and recently divorced....well, during this process, he left his house to try to fix things, and left behind 3 dogs- he didnt want to take them from his children. However, he did have a yorkie mix, named Scamp, whom he taught everything and was attached too deeply. Back in July, Brian had a dream that something happened to Scamp, so the next morning he called one of his daughters to see if everything was ok, she said yes. Well, this morning, Brian got a call from him son, stating that Scamp and Daisy (other dog) ran away, and never came back. Brian called me this morning, and i could tell instantly that something was wrong. So i went online to all the local shelters to see if Scamp was on there. Do you think we could do anything else!? I feel so bad for Brian, but the good thing is, is that Fiona LOVES him.... |
I am so soory that this has happened to ya'll, I don't have any suggestions but I wish you luck in finding them. |
Put up flyers, call all shelters, call groomers, vets... Put an ad in the paper and on Craig's list. Good Luck |

I am so sorry. What Tammy said (^) were some great suggestions. I'll be praying for their safe return. |
Thank you all so much. I went on petfinder.com and did the whole lost pet thing/found pets. Apparently this happened in July. You think there is still hope!? I just want to find his baby back and make him happy again. |
Oh no. :( I didn't realize it was back in July. I'm going to say never give up hope, but I don't know. Though crazier things have happened - someone may have seen them and taken them in as strays. Let the neighborhood know, maybe call a radio station, etc. I'm so sad for you/your boyfriend. I wonder why they didn't tell him back when it happened. |

well, I just called the SPCA in his area, and nothing....Do you think we should just put flyers out anyways, and maybe someone will give him up if they brought him in? |
Well, you should never stop trying. I've heard of dogs that've come home after months, sometimes even years. I've seen some messy divorces, and I wouldn't put it past some disgruntled ex-es to do something like this. It is so horrendous. :( I'm so sad for your boyfriend. |
There is always the possiblity his ex re-homed the dogs...or took them to a shelter herself and told the children otherwise. |
