I finally got around to getting a pic of Lucky in his carseat. He is like my little copilot riding in it. He takes his front paws and stands on the edge of the seat and stands proud looking at everything. He is rotten. lol ;)

WOW! Where did you get this and how much is it?
My little one, Bella, is barely 4 pounds, do they have ones to seat such a tiny yorkie? I am hoping this wil help with her car sickness since she vomits. :P

I bought it at Petsmart. I think it was 25.00. I have had it for awhile. It will work for Bella as well. Lucky was about 3 pounds when I started using it. I have a pillow inside of it to lift him up.

I had a carseat for Pepper, similar to that one, but had to put it in the backseat because of the passenger airbags. He didn't much care for riding that far away from mommy. I am looking at the console car seats.

The airbag in my car are off if anything under a certain weight is in them thank goodness.

How do these car seats work? I suppose there is a belt that holds the little one in? Are they best for road trips rather than a crate? Can they lie down to nap?

They have a strap that goes around your headrest and the seat. I do not use it for really long trips. He does lay down in it. There is a loop to hook into the harness of the furbaby. You should be able to see it in the pic.

Ok, I see now! That is great...Lucky is a doll! How much does he weigh and how old his he? He looks to be quite big in the pics but I know that can be deceiving. He is really cute!

Thanks, he weighs about 7 lbs and he is almost 9 months.

Why not use it for long road trips? What do you use?
