Fasting eating Yorkie in the world I fix Tricksie 1/3 cup kibble and wet. She will have it eaten before I can pore a cup of coffee and walk 2 ft. to set down.:eyebrow2::eyebrow2: |
lol.. Thats so funny because Lucky is the same way. He just gobbles his food down so fast and then stands and licks the bowl. Then if I am eating something he acts like he is starved to death. He is spoiled rotten... ;) |
Same with Tricksie. |
Izze is the fastest eater in my house. I have to hold her while she is eating or she will go after the other's food...and then Suzie(my little cream poodle) will go after her! And Izze will have this bewildered expression, as if to say "wha???? What did i do?" |
I would give anything if Daizy would just EAT at all!!! Everytime I put food in her dish...little miss priss walks over sniffs the food, and then walks away!!! I have not found anything that she actually likes!!! I've tried everything...I've even tried PMR...for about 2 weeks..but she was actually starving herself...and I couldn't take it anymore.....Your so lucky that your little ones GOBBLE up what you give them!!! |

I will be worried all night. Have you tried boiling chicken breast and veggies? |
What do you give her? trixie eats ok, but she could do better. Please tell me what is it you give your baby to eat |
Fritzel and Darla eat can food or treats like they are starving. But they just nibble on the dry food during the day. Fritzel likes cat poop too so he's not too picky. |
Tricksie has Life's Abundance kibble, with a tbls. of Pedigree Little Champions, mostly rice and lamb, chicken and rice, turkey but not beef very often. |
I also give her very small treats of carrots, and fruits, not rasiens or grapes. She loves watermelon, peaches, pears. |
A Few Seconds We've timed Johnny and he eats his kibble in under 10 seconds. When we got him, we were worried because he was a grazer/nibbler but he changed and now gobbles it all down-FAST! I've tried a tall, heavy ceramic cup so he has to get his head down into it and a shallow bowl that spreads it all out but haven't tried the bowl with "mountains" in it like this http://www.petco.com/Assets/product_...463002656A.jpg http://www.petco.com/product/106954/...l-in-Blue.aspx I've also noticed the larger kibble is easier for him to gobble down than the smaller pieces are. |
I would get one of Those ^^^ Bowls There is no way gobbling her food down is good for her stomach. |

I do keep food down all the time...I'm just never sure she's the one eating or it's one of my other furbutts... She does love some veggies....but she doesn't care for chicken...she mostly wants to eat what we eat! lol she must think she's human! I did spy her eating out of my other dogs dish the other day...so she is obviously eating..just not when I put it down for her....and not when I want her to. I've changed her food so many times....I'd just love to find ONE food that she gobbles up!! I went to several stores and got premium samples of all their food...she didn't like ANY of them!!! |
My guys nibble. Two bowls 5 dogs and I fill their bowls at night. They share during the day...... |
