Can anyone help me please? Hey everyone :) this is my first post becuase i usually find my answers in other threads but this time i couldnt find anything so it worried me. :( Today when i was petting my little baby girl, Layla, shes 4 months old, i felt a "knot" under her skin it almost feels like a little pea size cyst under her skin. i pushed on it a little and it didnt seem to phase her so i'm assuming that its not hurting her in anyway at the moment. I know i have to go to the vet and i called them as soon as i found it to make an appt but they didnt have any openings until next week...is this something that i should take her to the emergency vet for? and has anyone else experienced anything like this?? if so what was it? please help!! |
I would check to see if it feels like it got any bigger over a day or so and if not, keep your regular appointment. However, if it feels like it is bigger or it starts to bother her, then take her to the emergency vet. Good luck |
Where is this located. If it is where she received shots it may be from that. |
wow it never even crossed my mind that its where she got her shots. is that something that will just eventually go away or will her hiney always have a boo boo? :( |
It's very normal to have a little swelling or a bump after shots...it will go away after a few days or so...maybe less... |
she recievied her last set of shots last wednesday. so thats a week and 2 days! shouldnt the bump be gone by now? |
I felt a bump like this on Ralphie and it actually turned out to be his microchip that slipped down towards the middle of his back when he started growing. |

nooo it is on her hip. if you are looking at her from the front of her face its on the left side. |
My Mother's Yorkie get's little harmless cysts on the top of her head that she squeezes every now and then *Gross, I know*. Is it completely under the skin? |
yea it seems like it is...i dont see any red spots or openings on her skin. When i touch it, i can move it with my finger but it doesnt move far from the original spot probably only like a centimeter away from the original position. |
