I will be sure to tell people that he is a very rare and exotic Blue Yorkie. I know they will be super jealous and search the pet ads and breeders for the elusive Blue Yorkie.:lol tears

That is an amazing Yorkie you have. I have never seen one like him, so that makes him extra special. I only have heard that these blue Yorkie;s often do not suvive puppyhood, this boy is healthy and stong though ! He looks all Yorkie to me, and he is sooo adorable. :D

Aww Petey is beautiful! I can't get over his blue eyes - are they really that blue?! He is very handsome even with his short hair - no tangles! :thumbup:

My vet doesn't think he will get much bigger, doubts he will make 4 lbs and said his hair will always be short.
My problem is when people ask me what breed he is they look at me funny when I say Yorkshire.:confuse2: I know he is not up to breed standard, but I hate having to explain that he has a genetic mutation.

first welcome....he is a doll....and as far as what people think....just brush it off....1...you dont have to take so long on his baths....2...you can just trim him...and it will look like he has my Smokey's body ....we keep him short cause his hair is thick and gets matted too easily.....so if you keep it neat....know one that you didnt tell would ever know that his hair doesnt grow...trim his face in a puppy cut and enjoy....he is a darling....

He's adorable! I also have a blue yorkie, her name is Bella and she's 1.5years old. Don't let other people get to you! Everytime I take Bella out w/ my other yorkie, Rocky, people always ask what kind of dogs they are, and they never believe me that they are the same breed! Blue borns may not look like the standard yorkie, but that doesn't mean that they aren't adorable, and they definitly have the personality of yorkies, and not to mention how full of love that they are! People are also always telling me how lucky Bella is to have me, because who knows how others would treat her since she has no hair, but I think I'm the lucky one!

People tell you he doesn't look like a Yorkie?! That's total bulls*** in my opinion, he looks just like one! Idiots! :mad: Just ignore them hon, honestly!

He is absolutly adorable. His eyes are beautiful. I for one love the short hair scruffiness he has it gives him personality. I'm a groomer and it makes me so mad when people come in with scruffy dogs and they want to "just shave it all off, so they can look neat" :confuse2: There have been so many times I have just wanted to refuse to cut the dogs hair. I try to get them to see the beauty in their babies. :teethysmi

OH yeah forgot to add-those that say he doesn't look like a yorkie, obviously something was in their eyes when they looked at him. He looks like a yorkie with short hair to me.

Majority of the time, yeah she has clothes on. Unless she just got out of the bath and it's a hot summer day. Actually we've gotten to the point where it's wierd if she doesn't have clothes on and I have to put something on her! LOL. Her eyes are brown. Petey has gorgeous eyes!

well i think he is adorable. Just remember all yorkies are not the same. Thats what makes them special.
