does anyone else have this problem?? After every bath, after I have her good and dried off, Bailey will get in the floor and run around the house, first rolling on one side, then the other. Sometimes kind of sliding on the carpet. It's almost like she's trying to get the clean smell off of her. Then once she's completely dry, I guess to her satisfaction, here she comes back to me, ready for me to wrap her up and hold her. At first it was cute, but now I'm wondering is it normal? |
romeo will rub himself on the sofas and any other soft surface, he dislikes being wet. they are so funny. :) |
Yes most dogs will do this and sometimes it is in the dirt, I think just to get the doggy smell back on. Horses will do this too. Could drive you nuts, but it is toooo cute when the little yorkies do it. |

mine rubs herself along the walls. My friend was watching my dog once and thought my dog was having a seizure after she got wet and madly rubbed herself back and forth along the walls! |

Two of mine wants to be under a warm blanket but the other two does the same thing. Theres no need brushing until after they do their rolls:D Yes, it is so cute to watch them. |
LOL too cute... Yep it's totally normal...I just throw Daizy's towel down for her and she dries herself off with it. I just love watching her roll around..isn't it the cutest thing ever?? lol |
Katy Lou does this too. She also does it when I "fix" her hair. She will hold perfectly still as long as it takes to do her ponytail and then when I am done she jumps up on the bed or on a rug and rubs her head to get rid of the elastic band and/or bow. It is sooooo frustrating! Do you think she will outgrow this? I hope so because they are so cute with a topknot. |

Sounds just like Lucky. He runs like a greyhound scooting and sliding and rubbing from side to side then he is ready to be wrapped in a warm towel when he is done. lol. so funny |
Mine do the same thing. Like they are trying to dry their ears and the rest of their body. They are so funny to watch. I put several big bath towels down in big pile. They love rolling in them and getting all of the extra water off.. then they tare through the house and back to the pile to rub some more. Then when they are done, I dry them with the blow dryer and more towels. |

Lol, Yes I think this is very normal. Ben does the exact same thing, and when he dosent do it, I think something is wrong with him! After he has his bath, I say okay it go crazy time and I let him loose, Its so funny. I dont know if he will grow out of it, because he is just trying to dry himself off. :) |
Rory does this too! We blow dry her after a bath too, so she can't be all that wet. She will take her rubber ducky (who joined her in the bath) and toss him all over the bed and then roll around on top of him. She does this with lots of other toys too though - generally her mini tennis balls. I'm not sure how much is related to her bath and how much is her "flirting" with her toys! She will also run back to the bath tub and bark if the shower curtain is pulled. She always wants to look inside the tub. It's almost like she is asking where the water went...once the bath is over she's very interested in exploring the tub again. :p |
OH you mean the After Bath Zoomies? All of my kids get them. They will zoom around the house and rub on anything they can rub on. It's like watching them play in fast speed! |

Lily acts exactly like that and she hates the blow dryer!! I bath her in the kitchen sink and use the sprayer. It looks like ya all use the bathtub is that better?? She bites me now worse than ever since her experience with Petco!! |
