INDIANA Meet-up Ok, guys. Let's get this going. Here is the who, what, where, when Who- Anyone in Indiana or close (Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, etc are welcome) We have around 17 people so far! Where-Indianapolis (exact place to be determined.) When-Late September, early October Suggestions-Bring a dish, scarves with Yorkie Meet-up Indy 2005 Sweatshirts with Yorkie Meet-up Indy 2005 (or something like that). A member offered to make the scarves or we could have sweatshirts printed and everyone pay for the cost of theirs. As far as places, a park has been suggested or renting someplace. So, here's what we need to do: VOTE-We need to vote on the scarves or sweatshirts, bringing a dish and what month we want to do this-Sept or Oct. We also need someone to suggest a place we could do this. |
Bump... |
Bump again. Noone from these areas? |
I'd say sweatshirt over scarve. I think Late September might be better weather. IUPUI has a pretty nice campus. |
I like scarves over sweatshirts. I will try to look into a place in Indy. Not sure if IUPUI would get mad at having like 20 dogs there? I will bring whatever food anyone wants me to bring I am not picky. And I really don't care when we meet either just as long as we do! |
There is a Bark Park, a dog friendly park, in Indy, called Eagle Creek Park. It costs to get in and their are rules. I will post the website later tonight when I get on a computer that has copy and paste, I am on a cheap neoware work computer, which isn't even a real computer if anyone knows what neoware is they know it sucks! |
indiana meet up not making much progress with this are we. |
Bump... |
Ok, guys. This is my last attempt. If we are going to do this, let's get it going. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) |
http://www.indygov.org/eGov/City/DPR...anion+Zone.htm that is the website to the bark park. There is a new one opening up this fall, in Indy too. So read the rules and tell me what you all think. |
I'm having trouble figuring out how much it would be to use just this one time. |
Ok here is another website for it... http://www.eaglecreekbarkpark.org/faqs.html Weekday passes for one day are 3 dollars and weekend passes for one day are 4 dollars! |
I think everyone would pay the 4$ and everyone bring cover dish and own drinks and plates! That's how we do our reuinons! someone line up a place in Indy! Let us all know ! Sounds good to me! lily |
Is the $4/person for the daily pass (if I am understanding it right). What does everyone think of this? It's cool with me. My vote is let's do the dog park, covered dish, and sweatshirt. What do you all think? |
sounds good  sounds like a good place to me. now all we need is a date and time. lynne |
