Would I be pushing it, if I asked for a third Yorkie? That would be it, just one more, and I'd feel complete. There's nothing else I want, except maybe a big, flat screen TV, and then that's it. Oh, and maybe a BlueRay dvd player to go with it. Then the Yorkie's and I can sit on the sofa, and enjoy watching TV together. My wife didn't want me to get Squirt, or a dog period. She didn't want me to get Gus. Tonight she told me that she is glad that I got Gus. She said that she was afraid that they'd fight. She's happy to see that they get along so well, and that Squirt is rejuvenated. Squirt seemed to be fading in the months before Gus arrived. Even though Squirt is active, and friendly with Gus, he doesn't like to play with Gus. So, a Yorkie Gus' age, or younger, would be appropriate. As my wife was telling me how good it was to have two Yorkies, I was holding up three fingers hoping she'd get a subliminal message. I think she saw the fingers, got the message, and chose not to comment. I take this as a positive sign, i.e., she didn't say no. Life is good. |
as long as you can afford the care for 3 yorkies,,,,,Then I say go for it.....If you have the money to take care of 3 yorkies without anyone going without! (including the humans) and make sure they have their proper grooming and training. if all that is in order and I were your wife...I would say....when can we go yorkie shopping..:jump28ib: |
All systems are a go, except my wife would never say yes. However, she likes to travel and I don't. I'm interested in a Yorkie in the midwest. What might work, is if I asked her to fly there, and pick it up. |
Ha Ha thats what I said. I got my 3rd and I love it! Now I can never have more, but I can help my friends hunt for a Yorkie baby. (Thats fun too) Maybe see if there is something your wife really really wants and then you can both splurge and she might give you the "go ahead" Good Luck. |
Go for it!!! I have 3 yorkies and a pom. Like you I don't like to travel and hubby does but he as all his toys so we're even. |
3 are a lot more work than 2. i have 1 and my mom has 2 and when all 3 are together it is hard to walk them and finding time to give all of them affection is difficult. if you have the time and $$$ go for it. |
I can see why you'd want another yorkie... It will be more work, but if your willing to devote the time and energy into it, then why not? For me, I don't think I could handle having three... I lose my mind with two (when they aren't behaving)! |
*sigh* I'm still trying to get dh to agree to a second yorkie...subliminal is not working at all so I'm thinking I'm going to have to resort to other tactics. :D I'm hoping after the holidays and things settle down a bit that he will be more...shall we say, inclined to see it my way! LOL Three? How marvelous! Good luck! |
I have been trying for months so find a way to get DH to ok a second one. Well I dont know what I did but today he said yes and we are going to go pick up our new baby Saturday!! I cant wait. I keep telling Muffy she is going to be a big sister. We are getting our new baby from someone on YT. I say keep working on her it could happen. |
i would say go for it...hehe... |
