I must be the worlds worst daughter!,sorry need to vent(again)
 

Ok everyone knows abuout the ordeal Ihave been having with the severe pain im in due to this spinal leak, and my hubby and kids whining cuz they have to lift a finger...Ok anyway now..MY MOTHER IS COMING. now the thing you have to understand is..she is not coming to helpout she is coming to visit,altho she lives only 10 min away..and she has a SEVERE hearing problem.and im telling you she will make you repete yourself 100 times,untill she figures out what you are saying,,(and she dont care)she is a nosey person, and she is not gonna miss something, no matter how many times you have to say it...and I have a severe migrain from this spinal thing,,,I dont feel like talking let alone saying something 50 times..and she knows this, but she is coming anyway. (cuz she wants to)..I mean I love mymother but, she could come visit after I got better...She is 70 yrs old,,and a gossip..she has never been the type to help others..(she would always make excuses why she couldnt) Im talkin the kind of person (no kidding) that wants expensive stuff for christmas, but shops at the dollar store for everyone else!...WHAT AM i SUPPOSED TO DO????? I dont feel like enertaining her,,,I cant even sit up. I mean this visit could waite. because lets face it, she aint coming cuz she is concerned, she is coming cuz its something differnt to talk about...and I know as well as I know my own name,,,she is not going to stop asking me questions,,,and she is not going to be able to hear me,,,,but she will insist I keep repeating the answers,,,,,and when you have a migrain like this.sounds are like thunder,,even your own voice. and not to mention those who cant hear well, talk really loud,...well im done bothering you all with my problems,.But you guys have been a life savor..thankyou for all your support a d understganing...at least I can get some things off my chest without having to talk....you quys reeally the best.....Ok im done for real this time..lol

take a pen and paper to the conversation, and try to be honest and polite..
honor your mother.. i know how hard it is.. :)

I understand. i feel really bad for you.
When you get better, you really need to put everyone in their place. You aren't there to serve them. You are there to support and be supported.
It's not ok for your mom to do this (my grandma is the same way to my mom). It's certainly not okay for your husband and children to do this.

I cant thank you all enough for your support,,,well the "visit" is over,,,,she must have gotten bored with me not being able to talk..(and I didnt try) cuz she didnt stay long, she did most of the talking,,( that was a good thing really) about her boyfriends 85 yr old mother who is in a home, and how when they go visit for the day all the woman does is sleep.:confused:..( I did speak up an say,," well what do you expect the woman is 85 yrs old, she is probably tired" and they have her on all kind of meds. But anyway, its over now, you guys have been a godsend for me,,,you will never know, what it means to me tobe able to get all this off my chest...thank you again...
Oh they are doing a proceedure tomorow, to try and fix this spinal leak,,,so wish me luck,,,Im about tired of laying on this couch already..;).....at least the puppys care! even if the humans in this house dont...:p

Good luck. Hope they get that leak fixed. I know how bad that kind of headache can hurt.

TRY THIS...everytime she says something, say ,"Sorry Mom I can't understand you...huh?" Do this over and over...she'll get tired of repeating herself.
