My Yorkie Is Thrown Up Yellow Liquid He threw up earlier and I figured it was cause he ate to much but yesterday he had a real bad accident and was constipated so I thought so I cut up some cheese and fed him it. My dad says that clears up constipation so is this related to that?? It looked real yellow like pee/ lemonade. Besides takin him to the vet which Im doin tommorow any other suggestions??? |
Do you think he could have drank his pee?? I know sometimes Ramsey cleans up after himself and it makes him sick. |
lol he did try to eat his throw up earlier so that is possible he just been very very tired as of late thats probably because his mommy isnt home yet tho and im just a huge bore |
That sounds like bile. It's yellow and foamy. Mine has done that if she goes too long without eating. |
It was just a little bit but it was yellow and a little foamy any suggestions on what to do?? I think he is so much in love with Cesar food that he wont even touch Iams anymore |
I hope your little one feels better soon. I thought cheese was a binder and only adds to contispation? , Your vet might be able to confirm this for you tomorrow. Schatzie has puked yellow bile before also, I try to give her plenty of water as to not become dehydrated. |
he seems very weak and tired now which is odd he still cryed when i didnt let him on the couch so that it normal. I read I could give him a child dose of liquid pepto?? Problem is he hasnt drank or eaten anything since this |

Id not wait for your vet appt. tomorrow and call them now to see if they can see your fur baby. If not id go to the emergency vet. I don't want to alarm/scare you but Yorkie's can go down fast when ill like this. Please keep us informed. |

I agree with Schatzie. Your baby needs to get to the vet ASAP. Throwing up is occasionally is normal, but the other stuff is not. He can't wait until tomorrow. He can crash very easily. Good luck. I will be thinkign about your little boy. Keep us updated. |
I agree with Schatzie! Please get your baby to the vet today, do not wait until tomorrow. And let us know what happens. |
he seems very active now biting on everything in sight. I booked the vet appt for 6 or so but he seems back to normal which is odd |
For peace of mind, a vet visit today would be good. Let us know how it goes. :) |

I hope he's feeling better. Otis has done that several times, and I've noticed it's because he had an empty stomach or hasn't eaten in a while. The minute I hear his stomach growling, I give him someting pallatable to eat to encourage his appetite. |
Loki has done that a few times if he DRINKS too much water too fast. He has also done it randomly a couple times for no reason. It's just the contents of this empty stomach. If he eats too much or the wrong thing he throws up brown food OR if he eats too many treats or too much cheese (or a new treat that doesn't agree with him) he gets diarrhea. If you're still not sure call the vet. (Loki and our vet have a special relationship and she has her own special nickname for him! Heehee.) |
