I want to buy my little boy, some onesies, but i don't know how he would look in them. Do anyone have picture's of their babie's in onesies?

They are adorable in them. You put them on backwards, so the design is on the top. Snap the 2 outside snaps and the tail goes through the middle one.

Me too! I was checking out that site where you can create your own and was thinking about doing it! Also what size do you get?

That's such a sweet picture, looks so snuggable! I didn't know the tip about the tail going through snaps, many people say they just cut a hole for the tail, this sounds like a great solution.

I just had to do this after Bella's surgery. I put on the right way and cut a hole for the tail. I got the newborn size.
I don't have any pics of her in it, on this computer. :(

Sandy is 6lbs. and I bought new born. It fit her. For the tinies they have premies.

I like to put it on backwards.. then the cute design that goes on the skin babies chest is on our furbabies back. So it shows up.

Onesies and fit
 
Sophie was 5 pounds and newborn ones fit great after washing so they'd shrink just a bit. But she wiggled out of the neck opening! I tacked the sholders shut (sewed it in one spot) and had no trouble after that. Good luck!

When Mocha got neutered, I got home a cute little onesie in a premie size. I put it on the regular way and cut a hole for his tail. I didn't have to worry about the design not showing, because it had a teddy bear pattern all over the onesie. I don't have any pictures, but I wish I did 'cause it was the cutest thing ever! I think I'm going to get some more and use them as pajamas for him :D

Those are sooo cute! I've been thinking about getting Bailey some pajamas, but onesies might be a better idea. Bailey is a lean 9lbs. Should I go one size bigger than newborn?

They do shrink a little when washed. I love how soft they are.

Zoë's getting spayed next Thursday (I feel terrible already!) and I was so happy to see this thread now! I've heard about using onesies but have never seen a little puppy in one! Pictures and tips, awesome! :D

I tried looking at Walmart and another store last week but none had anything that seemed they would fit Zoë (too bit and all were wayyyyyy too long). I saw newborn size but no premie size, though I'm sure stores do carry that size. Since Zoë's just under 4 pounds right now I can only assume she'll be needing premie. If I find that should I just wash it and hope that'll make enough of a difference? (And where else could you think to find them, if my Walmart didn't even have!?)

check out Target's one spot...the have onsies for $1...hehe....i am going to go back and get some i totally forgot to when i was there...hehe

I've been using onesies for my Daizy for months now!! I just love them....

But instead of putting the tail through one of the snaps...I just take a small gather..maybe 1/4 and inch where her tail is and cut a hole...so her tail can stick out where it needs to. I just love it....When she needs to potty...i just unsnap it and roll it up to her shoulders....walah....lol
I have a ton of pics with her in onesies!! lol

One is of her in a onesie....and the other is a baby pj's

Bella is getting spayed tomorrow :( so I got her a couple of premie onesies at a resale shop! They were $1.50 each!! She is just under 4 lbs. too, and they REALLY hung around her middle! I had to pull the fabric up and pin it, and then sew across it (and cut the extra material off underneath) so it would fit her better. It doesn't look perfect, but it's not too bad actually. But, I don't need it to look great anyway because it's just for a few days or so. I also cut out a hole that included the middle snap on both sides of the material....on for her tail and bottom and the other for her girly parts (had to make that one a small one--don't want her to be able to get to her stitches!).....Bella is pad trained, so if I didn't give her access, I know she would have just pottied anyway with the clothes on!! I'll be trying them tomorrow, so I can let you know how it goes!!

After Bella's spay, I got her a few of them. They were only $3 at Wally-Mart. I also just got her a long sleeve one at Kohls that says: "I love my Mummy (and my Mummy loves me). I just have to hem the sleeves on it. (sorry, no pic of that one yet)

I can't check right now but I may have 1 0r 2 left from Roxie I would be happy to send that should fit. I will pm you if I find them later.

Ha, now I can get on my Walmart sucks soapbox. I live in a small town with nowhere else to shop but Walmart, so I'm very familiar with the store. They do carry preemie sizes. For some reason though, they only get about 3 or 4 preemie garments in the entire store, maybe there's a rule. Once those are sold, much like many of the items they carry, they won't get more for weeks or even months. I once waited six weeks for the kind of plastic hangers I like to be instock. I had a friend who had a preemie skin baby and all anybody could find at Walmart was one package of blue and white preemie onsies. The poor little girl had two changes of clothes for the first week of her life. She finally filled out a little bit and could kind of fit in newborn sized, but even they hung off of her.
