15 pound Yorkie So, Tucker is growing like a weed. I decided today to see how much he weighs. The way I do it is I stand on the scale and hold him in my arms. Then I put him down and weigh myself and subtract. Well, when I saw what I weighed holding him I told him he'd better way 15 pounds! Unfortunately, it's all me. He is 6 and a half pounds! (at 4 months old he now weighs as much as his mother and 3 pounds more than his father!) I think he's trying to catch up to our Lab, who is around 70 or 75 pounds. |
I do the same thing! I always tell Hallie she better weigh 10 pounds or the scale is wrong ;) Very funny! |
As cute as Tucker is, he could weigh a hundred pounds and it wouldn't distract in the least! He's such a doll baby! |
LOL I do the same. Sometimes when I want to just weigh myself I'll hold Sango in my arms, and tell myself that extra 20lbs is all her not me! :p |
Looks like you are going to have a big yorkie boy. More to love! I do have a 14 pound 8 month old yorkie! |
Funny. I never thought of weighing Lucky that way! |

Wow that is huge! :D Charlie is about 7lbs and he is 13 months old. |
I can't even read Gus's weight on our scale. He is too small to even read. Even when I hold him it really doesnt move. But then again our scale is very old. But not too old to read every lb I gain. Grrrrrrrrr!!!!!! It doesn't matter if Tucker 2 lbs or 20 lbs with a face like his, he is and will always be so darn cute! |
You guys are brave- I make my mom weight Olivia. I tell her I'm not doing anything that makes those numbers go up!! |
Deegan's a big boy too. 5 lbs at 4.5 months old. His parent weighed 4 and 5 lbs. What's up with the overgrowing??? But he's still my babyboy! |
That is how I weigh Bell, as she is too large for the baby scale. |
Ha-ha! And you're hoping he doesn't catch up to Rusty, because he's a lap dog! :D |
I do the samething thing too!!! :) |
I was doing it wrong, how about you? 1 Attachment(s) This thread goes great with the e-mail I recieved today. It's too funny. How to weigh yourself and get the most accurate result. I can't believe I was doing it wrong all these years. We must get the word out. |
LOL...this is all too funny...I don't even have a scale in my house...I would just rather not know at all!!! |
