Question about males... Ok - so Tucker is almost 8 months and he only has one testicle descended. The vet told me to wait until he is a year before having him fixed to see if it drops on its own. No problem. However, I am going to Las Vegas next month and I am leaving them with my cousin who works at a doggie day care/boarding facility. They (Tuck & Biddy) will be kept with other small dogs. So my question is - is he able to get another dog pregnant? I know they won't put him with a female dog in heat, but I'm just curious if the undecended testicle affects reproduction? Also, at what age are male dogs able to reproduce? |

Yep, he sure is capable of reproducing with only the one testicle. At his age he may only show an interest in females but he is quite capable of getting some action if he can figure it all out. |

They can be fertile at 7 months old for small breeds . |
