Gross Question.... I have been having to give Tiff a bath every other day because her head/face smells like tee tee. This is so stupid but could the cat be tee teeing on her or Tiff could be getting in her litter box?? But there arent any signs of litter being strowed out anywhere. LOL! I can't think of what else it could be?! |
OH YES, I know this one..lol...I would bet money its the litter box..she might not be routing through it but just sticking her nose in it to get a wiff...I dont know why they like it but they sure do..lol..(gross) I have one hell of a time keeping Riley out of the litter box, and I too have had to bath him because his face smelled like cat pee,, |
my mom's yorkie has long hair on his face and it gets smelly because he likes to sniff wet pee pee. once it drys on his hair it smells really nasty. he had to get his hair cut shorter. |
Son dont feel well and Riley wont leave his side deleated, posted in wrong place |
Oh I hope your son feels better soon! Could you move the litterbox up high where the cat can get to it, but Tiff can't? |

I bought a bunch of these hamster playpens things and unfolded them and put them all around the cat box. The cat can jump over them and get in but it keeps the dogs out. I got them at Petsmart |
OMG the hamster thing sounds like a great idea,,im gonna have to try that to keep my puppys out of the litter box,,I have been keeping the bathroom dor shut and just putting the cat in there every few hrs..but this sounds like the perfect solution,,,thanks for the idea. |
I read on here one time "to wipe their face w/citrus mouthwash around their mouth". I tried it w/wet washcloth and mouthwash and it does help?? Lily uses washable pee pads and I think she gets that "pee smell" too from sniffing it and walking through it?? |
Could it have happened outside? We have a boxer next door and he LOVES to pee on my girls through the fence! I hate it! I just gave them a bath and put bows on them and they looked so gorgeous and the next thing I know the dog next door is lifting his leg on them! :( |
