people vs. other dogs does your yorkie like people better, or other dogs? milu likes other dogs, but she likes people way more than she likes dogs  whenever i take her to a puppy social or puppy class. she doesn't interact nearly as much with other dogs, she is always visiting with other people. why is that? does your dog do that? |
Maybe Milu associates people with rewards, such as treats. I'm not sure about Gus. Gus wouldn't interact with other pups at the first 3 puppy classes. He hid behind me. About the fourth class, he started to socialize with the other pups. |

well, i think maybe she thinks of people as 'cuddle' vending machines! :D |
Chewy my Silky Terrier prefers dogs, but Chloe my Maltese hates other dogs (though she does love her sister). When we go to the dog park they both tend to just stay right under my feet! I wish they'd be more social! Chloe will often go make friends with other humans. |
Mine like people better than dogs |
my dog prefers other dogs rather than people..however he LOVES kids! i mean just LOVES them!!! It's funny cause when he hears a kid on tv...he stops and watches them lol |

milu likes smaller dogs (smaller than her) to play with, but it's hard for me to find smaller dogs for her to play with because milu is only 2.6 lbs. maybe because she was stepped on by big dogs in her puppy class so she doesn't like big dogs? |

My Daizy is definately a "doggie" dog. she loves playing with ALL dogs...NO matter HOW BIG!! Her favorite friend is my kids golden retriever pup that weighs almost 70 lbs...now!!! And still growing! I'm sure hoping that my Tulip...(shes arriving home in 2 weeks) will be a people pooch! From what my daughter has been telling me...she would rather sleep on her than do anything else...so I may luck out and have one of each!!! YAY |
people definately people....they hand you food :P |
