Youre Yorkie is Lucky!!! We know how lucky we are to have our sweet babies... but they are lucky to have us, too! In addition to all the love, our homes come with tons of perks... like an endless supply of cute cloths and toys! Why is your Yorkie lucky to have you? Mine is lucky to have me because I provide dingleberry removal at no extra charge! hehe.... |
I would say because he's treated like a child and not a dog for the most part. Warm bed, blankie with his name on it, my bed to sleep in at night, healthy food, treats and fresh water and let's not forget grooming, brushing his teeth and lot's of hugs and kisses.:p Gee I wish I were Buddy! P.S. Sweater, hoodies, raincoat and warm pile lined coat for snow. All of which he hates! |
lots of clothes, and dresses, sleeps on my pillow on my bed and i will not take it from her!..I put her before me and my boyfriend...she is my child |
My yorkies are Lucky because they have never had to sleep a day or night in any kennel, LOL they prefer the Big Bed. I love my babies so much. |
The main reason I think my babies are lucky is because they are loved by us UNCONDITIONALY - something that unfortunately alot of animals in this world don't get  Sure they are spoiled rotten with the best food, treats, shampoos, etc. - they have tons of clothes, beds, blankets, toys, harnesses, leashes, an expensive carseat, not to mention they get to sleep in the bed with mommy in daddy every single night and are snuggled up in the same soft, clean sheets that we are - but the REAL reason they are so lucky is because they are shown love every single minute or every single day. Their bellies are always full and they get the best veterinary care available. They are always kept safe and warm (and cool, on hot days :p) and they are always taken to the vet when they are sick. They get tons of attention and play time and they never feel scared, alone or unwanted like so many other unfortunate animals out there. And THAT, in my opinion, is what makes MY babies lucky :) |

I have to ditto that... |
Baxter is lucky, because Mom recognizes he is part human. She has learned to always investigate when he barks, because it is usually to tell Mom that Cooper got shut in the garage, or he is picking on Darcy. No matter how many pets I have he will always have a special place, he my first pet in my adult life, the one I picked out at a week old, and visited EVERY week until he was old enough to come home, the one I carried in our home wrapped in a receiving blanket, scared to death I would get it all wrong. I did, but he still loves me. Cooper is lucky because he got an experienced Yorkie Mama. He didn't have to sense the frustration Baxter did when he made potty mistakes. He didn't get in to things that made him sick to his tummy, because Baxter taught Momma that Yorkies can and WILL chew anything! Cooper is the dog that I brought home even though Hubby said no. Darcy...I don't know, since I don't know her previous circumstances. I feel fortunate to have her..she is so calm...and such a great companion. We love her just as much as the two we had since puppy hood. Her meds are over $50 per month, and I am up a minimum of 2 to 3 times per night, sometimes more, to allow her to pee, and drink. For all she gives us, we give her the best medical care and medicine she can have, the best food for her, and an endless supply of bows :p I feel all of them are lucky because they are not treated as accessories, they are the kids I couldn't have. I love them all beyond measure. |
Daizy is lucky because I'm thinking of her almost every part of the day!!! From the time we wake up until we both go to sleep! She gets to cuddle to mommy every single night!! And mommy is always there to wake her if she's having bad dreams. Like others have said...she gets the best of everything...treats, food, toys, clothes...etc....those things I don't think mean nearly as much as getting to go on walks in the mountains...getting to explore and smell every single thing she comes across and constantly finding new creatures to check out and/or try to eat!!! And now because we love her so much, we are bringing her a precious little sister!!! We searched high and low until we found the perfect little sis for Daizy....she's submissive and sweet....just like Daizy.....and I know they will get along perfectly!! And she has never spent a day in a kennel...not since she came to be adopted by us!! And she never will! |
Mine are lucky because they all get to sleep with me, are not left alone much at all, eat premium food and treats, have each other to play with and because I love them so much they get a way with murder!!! |
