Warm clothes not keeping her warm! It was freezing outside today and rainy, and she was STILL shivering in her hoodie and or coat...how do you keep them warm long enough to go potty :( |
Mine potty inside on this fake grass potty we have but they all seem so cold already. I have no idea whats going on because I don't remember them freezing this bad when its only October. I've been dressing them in long john pjs and then fleece ones on top. It seems to help a lot. I'm sorry your little one is cold. :( |

I would put a sweater on first then the hoodie. You could also get little boots for her feet. If our feet are warm our bodies seem to be. Hope that helps. Just a thought. They also make jumpers for toy dogs. They cover the entire body and legs leaving an opening to potty. I would think some come with a hood. |

It's pretty chilly here already. Lilly doesn't go outside but I still put PJs on her and I have a coat for her whenever we have activities in the winter when we take her with us. It was freezing in our house (we rent an older house) and my boyfriend has been away from home so we haven't figured out what we're going to use for heat yet. I kept Lilly in her PJs & she mainly stayed snuggled in a blanket. One day she was still shivering even though I had all that on her so I put a heating pad on her and she finally stopped. |
ive been wondering the same thing. My little guy wont hardley go out, because hes so cold. if its raining, which it has been alot here lately, he wont go out at all. and then he eventually uses it in the house, but i hate to punish him for it, because i understand why he does it. but cleaning up the messes is really starting to get annoying. |
yup if there is an ounce of water on the floor my girl will not go outside. |
I use pee pads for my babies to go inside. I have a tray thingy under it, so even if they miss the pad a little, nothing hits the floor. My Chewy shakes INSIDE, let alone outside, the poor thing. |
yes, maybe use pee-pad if possible. another thing you can try is maybe put their cloths in the dryer and heat it up first before you put it on them to take them outside. also, they sell the little heatpads, maybe you can get one of those and stuff it inside your dog's clothes. just make sure it's not too hot first before you put it in. |

those hand warmers get pretty hot though, and if i'm remembering right, are u not supposed to actually touch them to your skin? i assume cause of them being too hot, not dangerous in another way. ? |

I few ideas I've been looking for something for Molly's bed and here are a few sites I have found Cozywinters.com They have pads you heat in the micro and they stay warm for up to 12 hrs. NextDayPets.com They have a few different things there too.. |
