i was really mad and annoyed after taking milu to the petsmart halloween thingy. things did not go very smoothly....

they were very unorganized, and the camera was really crappy, it takes way too long to snap a picture, so i got this very blurry strange color picture of milu, you can barely see her face....and then, they didn't tell me what i was supposed to do for the contest, so i completely missed it, even though it took me a long time to make milu's costume since i am not very good with sewing and things like that :cry:

i guess a trainer saw milu come in, so she entered her into the contest, but milu didn't get to walk around and show all the voting trainers what she looked like :(

but somehow she got like 2nd runner up or something, so she got a $5 gift card. (excuse me, what can you buy with $5 anyways :p ) and the trainer asked us to stay because they wanted to take a picture of all the dogs that won.

so when they were ready to take the group picture, they asked us to put all the dogs together. but there was something slimy on the little stage, so i kept saying "what's that? what's that? what's that?" and no one will answer me. (you think the owner of the dog that's leaving the slime would answer right?) and finally someone said it was just slobber. so i finally put milu on the stage for them to take the picture. the "slobber" got all over milu and the lovely costume i made her. and later as i was wiping off the "slobber", i found that it was the dog that won first place, he kept was puking, and had puke on his mouth, and got it all over my baby! OMG! what is wrong with that owner!?!?!?!?!? is he an idiot or what!? i understand that maybe he was embarrassed that his dog puked, but he shouldn't let his dog's puke get all over other dogs and the costume that took their mama a long time to make!

Im sorry that happened to you and your baby. I would be mad too! Not to mention, why the other dog was vomiting, and what was causing him/she to vomit? It does make you wonder, dont it? I've always been scared about my yorkies being around dogs that might be sick. I am always afraid they will catch something. Maybe im just a worry wart:rolleyes:

i know! part of the reason i was angry was also because i was really worried that maybe that dog was sick and that maybe milu will get sick too :(

That stinks!! I went last year and it was so disorganized and crowded, pictures were bad so we didn't go this year. I think it all depends on the staff at the Petsmart as to how well it goes.

Ewwww...I'm with you. I wouldn't be too happy either. I have learned Petsmart events aren't organized too well.

wow! i thought about taking charlie, but i'm glad i read this. i bet he'd be a mess. and he'd probably mark the whole store, lol.
(i mean petco.. it's this saturday, but i don't think i'll go)

Petmarts events have always been unorganized here also. I quit going a couple of yrs ago

Thanks for the warning. I don't think I will ever go now. Ha. I would be mad too. Especially since there is no telling what that dog could have had.

I'd be upset too...
 

I'm sorry that happened. I hope Milu stays healthy, and that you can get the costume cleaned up!

if the dog was puking it may have been sick i hope its not contagious i would watch your dog hopefully it may just have been car sickness?
