Funny and Crazy Nicknames, anyone? My 14 week old puppy is named Hercules. However, my fiance and I have noticed that along with his name, we call him a variety of nicknames (and he answers to all of them and his real name!) We are not really sure where the nicknames came from, they just happened! Some of them include: Puka Dog, Tuka Tuka, Pumpkin, and Herc, just to name a few. What are some of funny and crazy names you call your dogs other than their real names?? |
Chloe has a bunch of nicknames too. Most common ones are Girlie, Babes, Chlo-po, Munchkin, or just Chlo... she's also been called Chlotilda by my uncle a few times (not sure where he got that from). |
I have a bunch for Jewels: Pooper girl. stinky butt. Jewely Jewels, pumkin, baby, stinker fart, and some more thyey just come out randomly |
Gypsy is Gyps, Little Piggy, Little girl. Puff is called Puffer, and also Little girl. |
Although it isn't funny, we call her "Little Buddy". My son in-law calls her a slipper.:rolleyes: |
I seem to use the word miss poopy alot and tinkerbell, oh and babies! Just depending on what shes up to. She seems to poop alot thats were miss poopy comes from. LOL!!!:) |

What a great thread idea! :good job: I only have my Chi, Ellie, right now (I get my baby tomorrow!!!!!) and I nicknamed her Ellie Belly before I even got her. Not sure why, but there you go. James, my hubby, has a load of rather derogatory names for her and they are as follows.... 1) Stink Monkey 2) Ellie the smelly with the big fat belly 3) Smelly Belly 4) Wren (from Wren and Stimpy) He has also aluded to a new nickname once the new pup arrives tomorrow: Yoda (Ellie) and Chewie (puppy) from Star Wars. Shelby has MANY! cause i usually just blurt out something cute when we're cuddling or playing, lol.... most common is "Shoobie" dont ask why, it just popped out once and it stuck, lol.... and my lil bro calls her "Yoda" on a daily basis haha.... |
My dad calls Sapphire psycho and psycho chein (french for psycho dog). My mom calls her s**tfire and s**tmo. Not good nicknames. :( |
well... this is a long list.... haha Tootie, well that IS a nickname, his real name is Bear... he is mostly tootieMAN, TooToo and wild boy - he is only called Bear when he is in trouble and he KNOWS it.. haha Hope, she is mostly called NoNo by me, not sure why, just a pet name to Hope... she is baby girl, chunky monkey, little fat girl(at a whopping 6 lbs haha) My favorite for her is MY ME NO.. sounds funny, but said in the right way, it is my little personal pet call for her cuz she is My "MeNo"... lol I must be possessive cuz my cat is named "Me Kitty"... :) My chi mix, she IS Tinkerbelle, but we call her Tinker.. .sometimes she is Teeter, tee, big fat girl(she is WAY chubby) and the "queen" My lab, Laci, she is Naci girl, big cow, big baby... Sometimes i wonder how they know who we are talking to with which name but the all know which ones belong to them :) |
Lillybug is her main one. When we call her by Lilly, she usually knows she's done a no-no. We also call her random names that just usually pop out: monkey, stinky, turd monkey. |

Jeter is called: Ruffa Tuffa by my boy's. I call him snobby prissy boy and picky butt and also have called him my little stalker;) Axl is called a lot of names:Boo boo baby, Teddy bear, and my boy's favorite to call him is... big A Number one dog ( don't ask, I have no clue myself) Yumi Yasha is called : just plan Yumi by me and then my boy's have a list of names they call her:rolleyes: Yumi poopsha, Pharaoh. the Czar,and cuddle muffins all depending if she is in a good mood or not. |
