:confused: Has anyone tried this product on there Yorkie yet? I bought one this week and read the instructions about getting your dog adapted to it. Let your dog smell and touch you dog with the Pedi Paws off and on and you have to do this for several days to get them use to it...1st day not so good at my house...Izzy smelt it and i gave her treats when she let me touch it to her OFF...But whent he ON button came on!!!! WOW! She went nuts! I'm hoping after a few days she will be ok with it...I'm not sure what she will do when I try putting her nail in it! Let me know if any of you have had experience with it.... Yes, I got it a couple of weeks ago, and have to give it "Two paws up" :D I wrote a blog about it to help others who are having a hard time getting their dogs adapted to it. Go slower than you think you should. Remember, the more pleasant experiences your dog has with it before you ever use it, the less fear he will associate with it if it ever does cause discomfort. i don't have the pedipaw but instead the peticure...it is really quiet so it doesn't bother any...hehe...i love it!

be very careful with this. It is basically just a dremmel with a guard but you MUST be careful that their hair is NO WHERE near the opening.. you dont' want it getting caught in there and ripped out.

It's an overpriced glorified dremel. I just bought a $15 dremel for my guys at wal-mart. same dremel we use at work on dogs too. Like someone else said, be VERY careful their hair does not get caught. It can wrap itself around and get ripped out.

I tried to order one of these on-line and by the time they added in the shipping charges it was going to cost $75.00 so Canadians beware before you purchase.:animal-pa

Actually the Peti-Paws is only $19.99, and you can get it locally at stores like Walgreen's and Bed Bath and Beyond. I have a regular nail dremel that is electric, and it was closer to $100.00, but I like this better because of the nail guard, you cannot file it too short, and it would be pretty hard to get the hair in the guard area. I put a nylon stocking over his paw just to keep the hair out of the way, so I can see what I'm doing. I tried the regular dog nail clipper once, and even though they were brand new, they cut the nail jagged, while these leave a nice smooth surface.
