I got a compliment today that just made me soo happy. I was helping my friend groom her little puppy and was just talking away when she looked over at prince's face and told me"you should be a groomer, you so good at this" It made me feel so good to think Ive gotten so good with the dogs that someone else noticed. I guess I am really am silly. :D

Gosh, take any compliments and appreciate them. They don't come as often as they probably should! Do you hire out? My Mia hates her brush, hates her bath, and I don't have the nerve to take her to the groomer yet because she would be scared to death - so we shuffle along brushing one part of her body at a time until shes had enough of that.

Im trying out the shampoo mane and tail at walmart right now because I have 3 dogs and I like it well enough, but my secret for less knots is biosilk. The hair dresser gave it to me a year ago and I loved it on my hair so much I tried it on the pups and its great. I guess you could say Im working for free right now because I do my 3 babies and 2 of my neighbors too. Its very enjoyable to do and Im surprised to find its not really hard. I just need to learn more style, all the dogs look the same!:D

aawww! sometimes you just don't see it!;) my neighbour always compliments me on Pixie's coat..She has a yorkie too and she asks me all the time about what I use etc..i'm like..'ME'? I know NOTHING! lol:p I would LOVE to take up grooming someday though...:)

Compliments do make a person feel great! You should feel very proud. I used to "groom" a Great Pyrenees I had and people would always ask me what groomer I had used so they could avoid them. Ha Ha! But he was so big that it was $165 a month to the groomer! Ouch!
