"It's me or the dog" TV
 
I say her this morning, she had to re-train 2 yorkies that were tramatized because they were left in the car and someone busted the windows out to steal them. She did a good job.
Poor babies.:confused:

Ive seen that episode a few times. I like Victoria, she is firm and to the point!

The two Yorkies are owned by a famous TV Celebrity's daughter over here and I have met her twice and she is such a lovely lady. She is the campaign leader of Vets Get Scanning to try to enforce a law to be past that all new pets registered with a vet are scanned for a chip incase they have one and are even lost or stolen so they can be returned to their owners.

She is one og my fav .shows. I have seen that particular eposoide a few times too. Victoria is an amazing trainer, and is so good with the dog owners too.
Her new season has started and she has come to the United States! The show is on at 9 pm on Sat . on the west coast. She had her hands full with a few bull terriers, and one aggressive one last night.
So far, I have not seen one dog that she has not got to behave her ! :thumbup:

I saw that episode today too!! The dogs are SO cute!!! A show I really like and watch a lot is the Dog Whisperer. Ceasar Milan is good!

I saw it as well. She made a valid point about not putting the dog's name on the ID tag. If someone steals the dog and sees the name, they can call the dog by name and no one would be the wiser. Now, someone calling "hey you" might draw a bit more attention? I'm going to order new tags for my girls, without their names on them.

I love 'It's me or the Dog' too! and have watched it for years.... I'd never heard of The Dog Whisperer until I joined YT and then* I discovered they show it England on sky3 - its on every evening and I can't get enough of it!:Dxxx

That was the one where the women left them in the car to go shoping right? I think that is extremly wrong and not fair to the dogs! But Victoria seems to be pretty good.

I've seen that one too. She did a great job and I hand it to the parents of those two, they really worked hard. I really like the way Victoria goes about training dogs. She is into positive reenforcement and that is how I feel.

The thing that scares me about the Dog Whisperer is that he is not all that big on positive re-enforcement like Victoria is. I read his book and the way he would handle a problem like my Rickles has scared me to death for the dogs he handles. Rickles and I were attacked by a St. Benard (150 lbs - we found out he was on the vicious dog list and we were the second ones he had attacked) it was awful and ever since then Rickles is afraid of all dogs he encounters outside (he has 2 brothers and loves them). In the book there was a case similar to that one and the Dog Whisper said he would bring the dog over and put him in the backyard with his 20 dogs. I believe if someone did that to Rickles it would break his spirit completely and nothing is worth that.

I did not know that her new show in the U.S. was airing yet. Thanks for letting me know.

I like Cesar too but I couldn't be as tough as he is.
