When I took my long hair chi to the vet the first time I mentioned that no one knew what she was. She sd shave her down they will notice she is a chi. Today we took her to get her sutures (spayed) to be looked at and another vet looked at her. She sd that she looked like a chorkie (chi-yorkie mix). While I love yorkies we wanted a long hair chi. she is ckc registerable though we are not registering her. I know ckc does not mean much. I have seen a pic online of an adult long hair that looks just like her. Just like your opinions. Do I have another yorkie?

Thanks for the compliments. The pics do not do her coloring justice. Jim named her Cocoa Puff due to her coloring.

In the first picture it looks as though she has a thick coat and looks like she could be Chi/Pom or Chi/Schipperke or Yorkie/Schipperke or Yorkie/Pom :D

She may be a mix, or she may be the long-haired Chi you wanted, but she's not pure Yorkie. Look at her eyes and the way her fur lays.

In any event, she's a cutie and I would be tickled with her no matter what her background is.

We got her from a breeder of short hair chis that was going to introduce her into her breeding program. She had bought her from the original breeder. I love her no matter what and so does hubby who I bought her for as a bday present. The lady also had her brother who was not as hairy. Jim fell in love with her due to her furry body.

She def looks part Yorkie, mixed with something, but I can't really tell what else... But I can tell she's a CUTIE!!
