ideas needed for partition for yorkies 1 Attachment(s) Ok here goes .. I really need some ideas on how to seperate my babies from the adults. I just had a large screened in porch build for them to play outside in. Well I want half of the area to be "our " area. ..so I need a barrier for both the end and the middle (seperation from us, and seperation from adults/vs/puppies. I will have a doggie door for each side the leads into another seperated chain link fenced area. I just don't want the adults rough housing with the babies yet. So here is kind of what I need about 4ft high and solid (non-chewable, yet easy to clean) Each side will have to have a gate for easy access. I would like to have the partitions solid so the babies can't squeeze through and so we can also have them outside but if we want to jump in the hot tub they won't cry at us like crazy :) They stay in their rooms right now, but I want a nice outdoor area (hence the porch) but I want it to be functional for us as well. Any suggestions please let me know!! ANY will help. My screen porch is done....just have to figure out the rest  I attached a pic of my idea |
I meant I will also have a fenced in area outside partitioned off (got that part figured out, so they can go potty out their doggie doors without the bigger yorkies tackling the babies :) |
Go to one of the big stores like Home Depot or Lowes; they have vinyl privacy fence, and I think it comes in 4' high sections (or something close). It's vinyl, so it cleans well. It's solid, so no escapees. You can add gates. And I'm pretty sure you can figure out a way to bolt them to the floor. Best of all? If you decide you don't need the partition anymore, you can use it to fence off an area outside for them as it's completely weather proof. Hope this helps, or at least gives you a starting point. |
Portable partitions work good esp if you ever want to change it. All you do is move the partitions since they arent permanent. |
