which are the adult teeth?? ok so i got Abby neutered at 6 months in july. they took out 4 baby teeth. i looked at her like 15 minutes ago and i noticed that her two front teeth are doubled up. how do i know which are the adult teeth and the baby teeth?? the ones in the front or back???? the ones in front are sooo much smaller. i was reading other posts and people say they dont seem to be painful but i dont want her teeth to be messed up. I really don't wanna put her under anesthesia again. Should i call the vet now or should i wait until she turns one and gets her teeth cleaining?? how does this work? |
You can work on the teeth yourself and see if they'll fall out on their own. I would give her a rawhide to chew on and you could also give her a sock or rope to play tug-o-war (but don't leave the rope with her alone to chew on bc the loose threads could be dangerous if swallowed). If they don't fall out within the next few months, I would let the vet go ahead and pull them. Retained baby teeth can cause problems for the adult teeth down the road as food gets stuck in them and can cause decay. |
she has been chewing on bully stix for months now. I am concerned because i thought they were taken out. I always check her mouth and i havent noticed this before. Does anyone know which ones r the adult n which r the baby teeth? |
